Ouff:( my best friend fell in love with his neighbour at age 12, and kept their friendship til she passed away last year in an accident. they were quite different, she was very quiet, would draw a lot and listen to music while he acted so cool and tough. and it was fun to see that everytime they hung out together, he fell silent, mesmerized, confused. in love. and he still listens to this song and its been over a year..i hope he'll get back on his feet. its a very emotional song.

i've always thought that damien rice's songs are strong in terms of the lyrics. they're sometimes cynical, but it reflects reality from his point of view.
