Police dog receives safety this Christmas

I can't believe Police Departments & officers don't provide vests for their dogs. The dog will risk it's life & take a bullet for it's handler, but the PDs & officers are too tight to spend 1800 bucks on something that will save their partner's life? Unbelieveable! The cost of training a new one must exceed the cost of a vest & whatever happened to a dog being man's best friend? Just proves the police 'use' dogs in every sense of the word. In the USA aka the land of the gun, that's shameful.

good idea having a vest for dogs as there have been some dogs shot dead by criminals. a vest would also make it that bit harder for them to stab the dog also so it's good stuff.

This is most unselfish story I have every heard. It proves that are good kids in this world. Christmas is for kids and for those two boys to think about others and a dog makes tears come to my eyes. Well done boys.
