It doesn't matter what armor you have, elder void wyrm does Element X damage and all armors have 100% Damage modifier to element X damage so te damage of it can't be reduced ;(

There is an easy way how to beat Elder Void Wyrm. I encountered him first time when I was lvl 93 and I defeateed him. It is easy when your build is Beastmaster mage. You have to have Golden Plate and Golden shield. Then Primal Garb with which you can summon 2 guests and som good pet. Weapon: Sila's staff. Healing spell is good. You just keep drawing mana and healing. Your pets wil get him easily :)

Even though the atack is element x doesn't mean you cannot defend against it. I minimized damage and even blocked a couple times against void dragon with pyrite armor and nemesis shield. I guess the staff are more generous than you expect.

10 dex give 1 extra melee, ranged and maic blocking. So 200 dex gives 20 extra blocking. High dex and armors and shields with high blocking helps a lot.
