  • LMFAO! i about died. But poor puppys have a rare condition :/

  • God amongst dogs.

  • inbred probably

  • And this is vaccine side effects? In Norway, a country with few citizens, at least 19 children and 4 adults developed sleep disorder narcolepsy after being vaccinated with Pandemrix. Next week experts across Europe will discuss the relationship between narcolepsy and the swine flu vaccine.

Oh yes, of course, sick people and animals are good business for Big Pharma.

Watch the movie here on YouTube; Burzynski: Cancer Is Serious Business - Official 2011 Release

  • he is not sleeping stupid, he is having muscle paraysis

  • I feel sorry for the dog.. :( I have narcolepsy too and it's really disturbing :(

  • @zuperkristin same here. I hate sleep paralysis.

  • Poor dogs!

  • @WhiteBeats1 You find narcoleptic dogs offensive?

  • @TechnologicsCo Yes, but it makes the situation less ironical! :D

  • really......snoozy?

  • haha she does say drownding lol

  • People forget that the sleeping part for many is just one part of a bigger picture.

Narc., may have mood swings, Irritability, insomnia, have many times higher chance of deep depression

It's a general disruption of structure in ones life. People think they know how it is because they were so tired partying all weekend and had to go to work the day after, "fuk yeh i know just how its", or the other way "fuk yeh you so lucky, sleep whenever you want"

Ignorant fuckheads. oh sorry.. irritability :)

  • Okay so I know that this is a real disease, but omfg its so funny

  • im a narcoleptic and i VVBZ^*(v57cvtn7j5v896yv6chjt6io4oj46nbyuj435hbYR$##t6^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^hjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjwtgsss444444444y45yuuuuuuuuuu ushfhoaiioeljhsfjishrjhgjsi

  • First step avoiding your dog from getting narcolepsy is naming it Snoozy, seriously.

  • @TheFinlandnator you cant prevent a disorder by giving something a certain name

  • I, too, suffer from the debilitating condition known as narcozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Puppie is very pretty...narcolepsy can get very scary at times

  • This was already done in 1908 in Germany, using directed energy weapons, presumably heat radiation.Check out chapter Psychiatrie-->Klinik der Narkolepsie on my homepage. You may have a translation by clicking the flags.

Remarkably the affected German recovered during ww1 when he was stranded in Austrailia. Then he worked in the mining industry in South America. When he returned to Germany in the 1920s he became "ill" again.Thats the first hint to an operational use of directed energy weapons.

  • lawlz 1:51 the lady says drownding.

  • At the end, did she really say drownding?

  • Nice dog, but honestly, its to fat !

  • @TherealVanquisher

how is he supposed to exercise when hes always sleeping, goddamn lazy pooch

  • @dianahkiss Is it called CATaplexy for a reason? It's sleeping almost as much as a

    cat....

  • "she fell in the water bowl, and i saw bubbles so i didnt worry about her drowning" wowowowow

  • @vlncrzy that is not what she said. watch the movie again.

  • give em some 'aderol' lol

  • that stinks

  • That dog always eating ,it's big

  • The brain produces a kind of chemical that keeps the brain awake, this happens in all beings even in us humans.

But in some dogs, they don't produce enough of that chemical.

  • I keep meaning to post and express my outrage at making light of narcolepsy, but I keep falling asleep.

  • Although the dog does have narcolepsy it is not falling asleep here. Its having cataplectic attacks, it remains fully conscious but its muscles stop working. Its a common misunderstanding about narcolepsy.

  • lol the big dog was killing her thats why shee kept awake

  • too much inbreeding..

  • It's not the "eating" that activates the cataplexy!

Its the general excitement that makes him fall asleep!

Everything that excites dogs (eating, running, petting, etc..) activates that!

So you see that for a dog, an animal that is normally always excited about something, Narcolepsy is rather a sad problem!

    NOT funny NOR cute!!!!! :(

  • Omg they are bringing Rusty into this shit.

  • i wonder why its normally the little dogs that have narcolepsy. Well, the videos ive seen are anyway, let me know if im wrong

  • funny

  • haha she said "drownding"

  • what's the title of the music 0:25-0:33 ?

  • "Wake Up, Little Susie" by the Everly Brothers

  • That is SO cute!!!

  • The dog is just tired from having to carry around those gigantic ears haha

  • My dog looks EXACTLY like that :O

  • lol the owner looks like ellen degeneres

  • hasnt this more to do with cataplexy??

  • Good point. Hopefully the researchers from Stanford University are considering cataplexy which is also associated with narcolepsy.

  • i have a narcolepsy fetish

  • lol look at her i bet shes like "ow there we go chew chew chew swallow hurry before light go out"

  • That's how I see this "case." I don't see the dog as unhappy. Certainly, s/he could have a happiER life, but no I don't think the animal is miserable.

  • loooooooooooooooooooooool makes me laugh! poor thing! so cute.

  • Que Commercial:: "I've become a Narcoleptic, and I fall asleep everytime I try to eat. I've lost 20 pounds and I feel Great!!"

VO:: "When you feel like pills aren't enough, come down to the Narcoleptic Research Center. We care about your weight!"

  • too bad! i have narcolepsy myself. Not much i can do....stimulant doesn't work all the time.

  • bunsofmolybdenum - when trying to get back at someone, maybe do your research. hard to believe but there are countries out side of America (shock! horror!) and sometimes these countries spell things differently.

  • There are indeed countries outside of America, but they are shit (or shite, for you uneducated Euro morons) and completely unimportant.

  • Yawn, you are so boring, you bring shame to the homeland!

  • do us a favor and drink some battery acid asshole

  • you butthurt eurotrash would like that wouldn't you

  • lolz falls aslep while eating *chomp chomp chomp snooze wake up like lol wtf there is food in my mouth

  • rofl

  • Wow, get some education, ok? Narcolepsy is a real disease that I suffer from personally. It can't be cured with caffeine pills, as you so ignorantly stated. I am so offended th

  • get a fucking sense of humour....

  • Learn to fucking spell humor...

  • Oh let me guess you are an American, needless to say you have butchered the English language. I stand by "humour" cause that is how it is spelt you retard!!!

  • I believe the word you were looking for is "spelled", not "spelt". Who's the retard now?

  • bunsofmolybdenum you truly are the retard

  • not all part of the world use US english

  • You apparently don't use any English :P

  • i don't get what you mean

  • "not all part of the world" is bad English, I was joking about the fact that you said that.. Also, only noticed bunsofmolybdenum's ignorance there, that is hilarious.

  • @bunsofmolybdenum how u cure it then? plz I need to kno

  • it is incurable but treatable. I have Dictionary definition Narcolepsy. The Cataplexy, Sleep Paralysis, Hypnagogic hallucinations and Excessive Daytime Sleepiness.

  • @bunsofmolybdenum you're a faggot.

  • @bunsofmolybdenum Congratulations! you just won the creative comment of the day award. Heres 2 dollars

  • @Jx8o5 lol no i've seen like 4 videos with narcoleptic animals and they all say that. its kinda annoying.

  • @bunsofmolybdenum I seriously doubt you have narcolepsy and even if you are stop being such a bitch about it. You're never going to get through life if you get offended all the time. Pussy

  • @bunsofmolybdenum AHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHA I started choking laughing so hard HAHAHA

  • @VeedioProductions Wow, you're an asshole.

  • dead peanut

  • aaaaaahhhh poor dogies

  • these poor babies!

  • aww

  • Je lo swisy je???

  • 1:09 its genetic fool. it has nothing to do with the food that the dogs eat.

  • its a genetic condition....

  • narcolepsy is genetic, it cannot be cured (hollistically or not)

  • you are so fucked up

  • (iHeartTheOncologist)

Unless I heard wrong, it falls asleep when he eats. You'd have to starve it to keep it awake.

  • It wasn't sleeping. It just looks like sleep - it's called cataplexy. The dog remains conscious while the body goes catatonic.

Vids like that blur the line between sleep & cataplexy.

  • What kind of dog is it? please help :) thanks

  • oh, nvm. i found it. its a Papillon

  • Good dog!

  • I find that cute. lol

  • fail dog.

  • poor pup=(

  • You're an idiot.

  • your a faggot

  • This is an example of Narcolepsy(N) w/ cataplexy (C). C can exist outside of N) due to rare prescription (serotonin syndrome) side effects. Fainting goat myotonia is different (stiffening vs loss of muscle tone). In dogs, N is caused by a lack of hypocretin receptors, whereas human N's slowly lose the ability to manufacture hypocretin. This causes extremely severe deep sleep deprivation and loss of muscle tone when experiencing emotion (REM atonia). During the C attack, the animal is awake.

  • Really? C due to med side effects? I'd heard of injury, but I'd never heard that.

Thanks for the info, hummer. :)

  • Kindly stuff it, would you please?

Most of these recent posts are from narcoleptics. If you had to go through your life constantly combating people who think your health problem isn't anything serious & little more than a joke you'd feel like setting at least a couple people straight as well.

This info is part of my daily life, without exception.

It's more infuriating than funny or sad as the narraration conveys incorrect information.

  • guys, save the scientific analysis 4 peopl who can use it. jst enjoy the funny/sad video

  • The fainting goats experience myotonia which is a stiffening of the muscles - essentially the opposite of cataplexy. It's a hereditary genetic mutation & ever since I heard of 'em several years ago I've not been able to find any actual link to narcolepsy or cataplexy. It's not the same & cataplexy does not exist outside narcolepsy. I assure you.

  • Imagine becoming an instant quadriplegic and falling to the ground. Youre still wide awake, but you cant move or speak. You cant say a word to the people who are gathering around you, even though youre screaming at them in your head. That is cataplexy. With that image in your mind do you still think its funny?

  • Cataplexy not narcolepsy!

  • That makes no sense.

Cataplexy in a sense IS narcolepsy. It's a major symptom & does not exist outside of narcolepsy.

  • Cataplexy is a temporary loss of control of the muscles and narcolepsy deals with sleep. An example of cataplexy existing outside of narcolepsy is the fainting goats, they tense up and fall to the ground but are awake and conscious the entire time.

  • Exactly - I noticed the open eyes, too. & the jerking muscle movements as the dog fights the attack. Not only that, but who falls asleep while running? Nobody! Unless in extreme cases of sleep deprivation. Physical activity can trigger the cat. attack & wards off sleep. Sitting still/boredom brings on the sleep.

Take it from the narcoleptics with cataplexy. Hehe. Even my fiance looked at that & knew right away. The trained eye knows better! :)

  • CSKYSK is right on the money. My narcolepsy initially manifested itself through cataplectic attacks. They show the dog laying there with it's eyes open; you think it's asleep? It just can't move!

  • Poor wittle monkey.

  • That's not sleep. That's CATAPLEXY! All it is is muscles go lax & you can't control 'em. Perfectly conscious. In response to emotional excitement.

  • Are you sure about what you're saying, CSKYSK? Indeed, in the case of cataplexy, facial muscles may slacken, or the jaw or head will drop, or the knees will weaken, or a total collapse will happen and so on[although awareness WILL remain].

However! You're referring to something else. Narcolepsy is different, from what I just read. Perhaps you may share with me some links to justify your statement? It seems pretty certain that Snoozy is a narcoleptic and not a dog with cataplexy.

    Have a nice day.

  • You're damn right I do! I'm surprised you seem to know so much about cataplexy and at the same time seem completely unaware that it's the most distinctive symptom of narcolepsy. Please note that I said what Snoozy was doing wasn't SLEEP, not that it wasn't narcolepsy.

It bothers me to no end to see this particular symptom of the disorder repeatedly mistaken for sleep. Small informative pieces such as this only perpetuate social misconception/misinformation.

    Google define:cataplexy.

  • I'm scared if that dog can choke on that treat while falling asleep :(

I think it'll be safer if you can keep that dog awake while giving it treats

  • SHIT'S hilarious.

  • wow... we have a scientologist in out midst...

  • Medicines are "natural remedies" that actually work. They just remove the ingredients from the plants that cause the remedies to work, then implement them into a pill.

Still, funny to watch - probably not so much suffering from it.

  • I noticed that it only happens to small dogs, and not larger one.

  • heres one

    watch?v=XPzs0q08uhU&feature=related

  • why would you put it to sleep?? its not suffering it looks like its havin fun to me! i can see this and im only 13

  • cause it falls asleep duh makes sense

  • That dog is so beautiful...

  • Have a heart douche bag.

  • She said "drownding".

    *sigh*

Don't kids learn the correct way to say that by the time they're like... 6? She's gotta be 38 or something.

  • That's the first thing I wanted to comment on too. It's ridiculous.

  • and "unopportune" is not a real word.

  • like i give a shit whether or not your feelings are hurt. god you amuse me. you people who think you can change the world by with youtube comments. if you wanna go kill narcoleptic dogs, be my guest. you can call yourself the mighty euthanizor. just know some bereaved dog owner is going to kick your stupid ass

  • you dont put a dog to sleep just because it has narcolepsy... maybe an inoperable brain tumor... but i dont see the suffering here... speaking of tumors, you deserve an inoperable brain tumor for suggesting some cruel and offensive shit like that

  • u need to buy a new mum..

    THAT WAS HORRIBLE !!

  • lets put you to sleep, you're obviously disabled in some way and sponging off the government :)

  • 'living with their drowsy dog' LMFAO! def not as funny as rusty or skeeter though

  • not as funny as skeeter this is a little less funny

  • Yeah, sounds like being a bit obese could be a problem, but I doubt it explains the narcolepsy, just gotta trace back the genetics to the parents.

  • Wow.. way to take the situation seriously channel 3. Let's play comedic music when the dog falls asleep! It'll be adorable!

Hey, I got an idea, why don't you play

a it's hard knock life while zooming in on a cancer patient?

    Insesitive douches

  • Uh, it's the local news. What did you expect? Also, I don't think that it would hurt the dogs feelings if it knew that they played comedic music, so it wasn't really insensitive. I'm not saying dogs don't have feelings, I'm very aware that they do, I'm just saying that it probably didn't affect her(?) too much :P

  • my mother has the worst case of narcolepsy(think of epilepsy with "grand" "mal", etc). any type of overwhelming feeling of emotion causes instant REM and muscle loss. They suffer from extremely vivid dreams.

  • Hmm, that almost sounds like a trauma survivor. Often they (trauma survivors) will have a "locking up" type of reaction where they literally cannot move. Obviously this is different, but still sounds like more of a psychological thing rather than a congenital thing. I don't know your mother though, I'm sure she's had that checked out numerous times.

  • It works out like "rare" meaning it is uncommon, "unique" meaning that it is a single case.

Nice try but.. the anti-depressants are given to treat the narcolepsy, not for "depression." I'm sure any owner that would attempt to treat the poor thing's condition would definitely not be classified as "bad."

  • "I don't really worry about her drownDing."

    XD

  • American term :) drownDING!

  • haha, i caught that too.
