I have this phone and yes you can watch youtube on a built in app. You can search by video category or type in a certain keyword. You can bookmark videos or whole channels. Also you can change the video quality from high quality to fast download. Videos are viewed at full screen and you can adjust it to stretch or zoom to full screen for videos displayed in 4:3 (square). It's great. I watch youtube in my lunch break at work.
Its a resistive touch screen. So no multitouch, but its still the overall most capable device to date including the iphone4 and evo 4g. From interface to software and files that it is able to download & make work, there is no comparison. High learning curve though.

Well depending on your carrier and the price of your unlimited texting and your data will vary... i pay 10.00 a month for texting (unlimited) and 25.00 a month for me full data plan which is required. And i am on uscellular... so if you love to text the full QWERTY keyboard is a blast but unless your loaded 13 year old and have a great job the touch pro 2 is very expensive... but go for it if you want... If your going to buy this smartphone you should know that if your not due for a upgrade yet or anyother reason the phone cost $599.00 its not cheap at all. To answer your ??? Yes it is a great phone for texting the buttons are large and very soft and easy to push, I cvan honestly say that it is the best phone that I have ever had. I had 3 other smartphones but nothing compares to the Touch Pro2 I hope this helps you.

@carmenflynerd when i bought it the facebook, youtube and bing app was already installed for twitter and myspace i think you can add the app using your computer. but for facebook/youtube/bing you just have to connect with the internet and you can use them like you use them on your computer .

just got this phone today from Telus and all i can say is....WOW. This phone is absolutely amazing, texting is really comfortable, screen resolution is very crisp, and the 3.2 pixel camera isnt half bad. Just 2 cons are is it looks bulky on the sides and it doesnt have alot of apps at the moment. But besides that, this is a must buy phone for anyone!

This is a good review about the phone, it looks very neat and I like it ALOT, I also like how you can tilt the screen alittle and then have it laying in your hand it would look like a mini laptop. I also like how it's very fast and responsive. I'm a current Sidekick user and I'm waiting to see if I'll get the last of my information back which would be my notes as I already got my contacts back. If they can't get that back and cut off the service all together then I may just switch to this.

just got this phone today from Telus and all i can say is....WOW. This phone is absolutely amazing, texting is really comfortable, screen resolution is very crisp, and the 3.2 pixel camera isnt half bad. Just 2 cons are is it looks bulky on the sides and it doesnt have alot of apps at the moment. But besides that, this is a must buy phone for anyone!

Just got the phone. It is a great phone if you plan on using it for business reasons, plus it has all the functions for socialites as well. Just not too many applications for it yet.

The HTC Touch Pro2 or Motorola Droid?
Both are for Verizon.
Can you guys compare the pros and cons and give your opinions about which one is better (I know the droid wasn't released yet)
I haven't had a new phone in 3 years so I don't know what to look for and don't know which is the better deal, and which has better specs and all that.

This is a good review about the phone, it looks very neat and I like it ALOT, I also like how you can tilt the screen alittle and then have it laying in your hand it would look like a mini laptop. I also like how it's very fast and responsive. I'm a current Sidekick user and I'm waiting to see if I'll get the last of my information back which would be my notes as I already got my contacts back. If they can't get that back and cut off the service all together then I may just switch to this.

this phone sucks. if you are a true gadget person this phone is definately not for you. got bored with is after almost one hours. not worth the money. palm pre or hero are the best options for the true tech person. sent mine back!

yay I'm getting that piece of crap, I had the touch pro and had problems with that shit all the time. it had to be replaced 4 times now they will give me this TP2 I hope it doesn't suck.
