@33doodleface1 yes it does, makes ur ipod enter DFU mode (think thats what its called) you also need to do this when jailbreaking your ipod. Im restoring and updating my ipod then ima re-jailbreak it.

This didnt work for me, but i found my problem :)

The problem was that i had accidentally deactivated some apple Services at (msconfig), so i activated them again and now its all fine, works great :D

My 3rd gen ipod started acting weird in the middle of using safari, so i shut it off and on. After turning it on, wifi never worked and the battery drained at like, 2% a second. So i switch to my 1st gen. Its been acting weird for a while and i suspect its a software issue. I loan it to my friend, he gives it back dead and now it won't turn on, it just gets stuck at the apple logo, wont go in dfu. Whats my opinion of apple? Great, im getting ipod touch 5 as soon as i can. (no joke)

Hey guys, this vid didn't work for me and it hasn't worked for many people. The same can be said for many other vids "teaching" you how to fix those problems. Well, I don't make vids so i'll say this. The iTunes problem you have prob has something to do with an antivirus program on your computer. I had McAfee and I didn't know McAfee was the problem behind iTunes not recognizing my iPod. Now I know and everything's fine. If anyone here has McAfee, drop it. Get a new program.
