  • It is work of art... gorgeous cathedral, I love them, think they are so beautiful... i am French ! why maybe ? x

  • I'm pleased that the video has brought back some memories for you. Yes, the pictures and video are my work.

  • Gloucester is one of my favourite cathedrals, with Bath Abbey. I used to worship at Winchester when in residence there and it's also on of my favourites.

My mother was organist & I did spend a great deal of my youth in the organ loft. This gavotte sounds familiar to me which gives me the clue that she might have played it. I was later a chorister myself, and went to the cathedral choir school from grade 3 to 6.

Did you take all the pictures and made the video yourself?

  • Who is the composer, what are the pieces? Especially the 2nd piece. Could it be Wesley as the plaque at the end implies?

  • Yes, it's the Air and Gavotte by Samuel Wesley who was the organist at Gloucester Cathedral.

  • Thankyou for posting

  • the fan vaulting is awesome :)
