Listen to me yankees. Hispanic comes from the word Spain. Thus, only Spaniards are hispanic. Moreover, all the people that speaks leanguages derived from latin are latins. Even French speaking Canadians are Latins (according to the true meaning of the word). Italians are certainly Latins. Mexicans are Latins, but they are not THE Latins. The right word for Central- and South Americans would be hispanoamericans or Latinoamericans.

Well Spain has enough of their own problems to deal with without worrying about ours.
Being of Italian decent I can tell you this. I never met one Italian family in the United States that was like this. It's sort of like thinking that all Spainards do nothing but play the guitar or all Mexican's do nothing but cut lawns.
But I will tell you this. Italian women are the most beautiful in the world and Italian's taught the French how to cook. You can also thank the Italians for great art.

Listen to me yankees. Hispanic comes from the word Spain. Thus, only Spaniards are hispanic. Moreover, all the people that speaks leanguages derived from latin are latins. Even French speaking Canadians are Latins (according to the true meaning of the word). Italians are certainly Latins. Mexicans are Latins, but they are not THE Latins. The right word for Central- and South Americans would be hispanoamericans or Latinoamericans.

Italians and Hispanics are basically the same people, with very similiar cultures and bloodlines. The way Hispanics are treated in the US today is exactly how Italians were treated 100 years ago. A lot of Italians seem to forget this though and want to abandon their roots, in order to impress the white Amerikans. That's how you end up with the likes of Joe Arpaio and Carl Paladino. Today they're forsaking their brothers to kiss the asses of the same people who would've been lynching them before.
