@95beeboo yea, i think it was for a long distance call (if you dish out 5 bucks and record the tone the phone makes after the money is put in then next time you call long distance it should be free using the tone you recorded..i think thats what there geting at...it's called ''phreaking'' but In 1980s the phone companys upgraded there system and started scanning for people playing tones on their lines and tracking them down. i'm pretty sure this does not work with modern pay phones though.

Nah, that was a final product- just look at Killar Instincts arcade compare to the SNES version. Rolling demos were not half as practical-and i think they made about 4 of those machines for in house shows. Cant believe the differences a year can make though.

But it IS a prototype for Wipeout that was used , that's pretty well known. It bears little resemblance to the final game in terms of format. The HUD is also missing and the weapons seen are not in the final game, neither is that level.

Killer Instinct looked bad on the SNES simply because of it's hardware limitations.

The arcade version used a HDD to store the huge amount of data that gave you the large clean sprites, cg cutscenes, 3D backgrounds, etc.

I just assumed the thing i played in the arcade was finished, i didn't mean final Ps1 release. Because as you said, Ps1 couldn't handle that kind of tech- BUT Do not ethe PS1 logo in the background. No its the original wipeout ona FS rear screen projecter, only the sticks are modified- using an old joint strike arcade stick cabinet. You can even see a playstation logo for a brief moment at the start of the race. Movies is 1995, so SCEE had time to put some product around.
