Andy did some of the best duets...He did a great one with Marie and this one, plus one with Victoria Principal...I always thought Andy had a fantastic voice...It must've been a lot of pressure on him to have three hugely successful brothers, but, Andy did very well for himself...Sadly, his life was cut short by drugs, but his music will live on, thank God...It's so nostalgically sad to watch these videos and hear these songs, though it's a beautiful kind of sadness...

Wow - how awesome is this? Andy has that wonderful Gibb talent. His voice is fabulous. Olivia is wonderful as always. What a beautiful song and they do it so well. I truly like this video. I just recently heard this song by Conway Twitty for the first time.

Who couldn't just "melt" when Andy would sing like this and look into your eyes the way he is? Its been over 20 years ago with his passing and its so unbelievable that he is gone and so his beautiful voice. Thankfully we still have Olivia and her beautiful voice. Beautiful song.....As much as people think age isn't a significant thing ...it is- if the woman is older and the man is younger. My soon to be ex is 10 years older and IMHO it was NOT helpful. i don't want to generalize but I think much depends on the person too. However, my rule of thumb has been established with this issue considering my own personal experience.

Actually Olivia was about to turn 33 in this "Solid Gold" performance. I believe that she did attend Andy's funeral.

This was from the season premiere of the 1981-1982 season of "Solid Gold" in September 1981 with Olivia leading off the episode by singing her "Physical" single. Andy was 23 at the time and Olivia was 33 actually. It was also the first episode with Andy as co-host with Marilyn McCoo.
