Republicans have reduced their party to a couple of issues, with abortion being their top priority, by catering to the evangelical wing they have become slaves to it. I think they should rename their party since it bears no resemblance to the original intent.

The story about John Kyle's fear of evidence-based approach seems to be real. I search around the internet and a couple of news sites quoted him, and Cenk includes the context that Kyle himself gave, that he thinks evidence-based approaches will result in being told what health care one can receive. Never mind that all private health care providers already do this. NO!! NO!!! That's socialist fascism!!!!!!!

One...not ALL means of birth control are effective...duh....Two, there is NO EVIDENCE life begins at conception...so it's not killing anything...it's a lump of cells....Give those cells a social security # with the rights of all other citizens and then we'll talk. And CHOICE means FREE choice...not "here, we'll give you the options and you choose between the two we allow" Men have all the choices in the world...yet women get 2, birth control and adoption...yeah..that's fair...*roll eyes*

I believe in treating women like equals..with the same rights to make the RIGHT decision for HER. Not like us Pro-Choice women have secret meetings talking about all the babies we want to kill. We have the same capability to decide what is the best thing for US. She took money from one of the last late term abortion doctors in the nation that is under investigation for malpractice. He is suppose to get a second opinion before performing a late term abortion, he had another doctor on his pay that gave him his second opinions. This is illegal. She should not be allowed for this.

A man can walk into any docs office and get a vasectomy...a woman must have at least 2 high risk births before anyone will discuss tying her tubes. There is this feigned sense of freedom when it comes to women in our country..but in reality..we are nothing but a number. It's like our wombs are on lease. Our bodies held hostage by the possibility of carrying a lump of cells....how is that fair? It's not....and no one can justify a person having no control over their own bodies.

That's exactly what we did in France. Gov't put a study on some drugs and defined that some of them was just not effective or was just for cumfort (one can definitly disagree on the list but some choices has to be done)

True but the justification they often give for being pro-life is that "life is sacred". Well if that's true then taking a life is murder at ANY age, for anyone, regardless of "reasoning".

Pro-death proponents argue that it is her body. By 7 weeks old that part of her body has a circulatory system with a beating heart that can be detected by ultrasound. It has a brain of its own, lungs, liver stomach, pancreas and thyroid. This baby that is her body has all the internal organs of an adult. Is it her heart, lungs, arms and legs? NO!! Is it her liver, stomach and pancreas? NO!! Is it a tumor? NO!!!
