great question ghostintheshelll, mmmm i'd say......to have "on hand" in case one breaks down in one of those old mechanical music machines inside an old merry-go-round.
could be used as a demonstration of music that's a "touch off"
or to show off "the future in vending machine technology"
or to reinforce that this idea albeit impressive will still sound bad.
