Wrong. The Cunard Line is a British shipping company owned by Carnival Corporation & PLC which is UK/US dual listed with different shareholders, incorporated in Panama with headquarters in London and Miami - the whole Cunard experience retains it's British heritage.

The Queen Mary 2 was built in France and the Cunard line is now American owned, so that makes it an American ship and British in name only.
