NIce Nice Nice love that the forms are broken up Our Grandmaster GrandMaster Doc Fai Wong doesnt let us put the whole form out there too so we protect the lineage and the Art cant learn Choy li fut from video plus video of GreatGrandMaster Lua Bun Priceless
@sifufrank Thats cool! By the way, I was wondering... you were commenting on lineage, are you 6th or 7th generation fron Chan Heung? Just curious, I',m 6th gen. through Fong yuk Shu... and by the way nice effort keepin clf in public view! Keep it up!
@lostlohan well, Chan Heung isn't my founder. However, if we did count him i'd be sixth. However, since don't practice CLF as passed down within the chan heung branch, I am a 5th generation.
Wow. 5 animal form looks great. Is it just missing connecting links? Some of the moves seem to come latter in the set when I learned the form what he did at the end I do more toward the opening. Is this the correct order of the moves? Or are the film makers just not giving away all the secrets of a great set and presenting them out of order?
this footage looks like it was filmed in Marysville. Maybe 1965. The performer looks like Kenneth Wong. Which means it was actually Lup Mo performing in front of the Hop Sing building. I think it's Ken because of the pants he's wearing. and his form...he has a tendency to stick his butt out. uh oh..he's gonna kick my ass for saying that. Ask Dino.
Thank you for the reply. You have an outstanding collection! I'm not familiar with the lineage of master Lau Bun, the name I most often hear associated with him is of Doc Fai Wong, though I've seen on some of your videos sifu Salvaterra as well. Are these two sifus the highest ranked?
Well, my sifu is the 2nd inheritor (Jew Leong was the first) although there are Lau Bun disciples who are still alive. Are we the highest ranked....my sifu is the current highest ranked IN our lineage today because of his position. But we always pay our respects to our elders.
I thank everyone for their great comments here. Our lineage, although it has been around since the early 1920's and we have remained in the shadows ever since. it's time we open up and let others see and experience the Lau Bun Hung Sing Lineage. Thanks again.

Wonderful Video! Still like a mountain and flowing like a river. Kenneth shows balance and power in his stances!
I have just begun my venture into Hung Sing CFL here in Fresno CA, under GM Freddy Spencer. Absolutely loving it.

to my knowledge kenneth never went up against bruce lee.
lwongphoto 2 years ago
no! Kenneth never did such a thing.

if it wasn't kenneth, whom my sifu seems to think it was, then who was it that went up on stage against bruce lee? I heard many things about Kenneth.

Cool video! Who is the performer? Doc Fai Wong?
5950231 2 years ago
NO, the performer ISN'T Doc Fai Wong. There are many many students of Lau Bun, Doc Fai Wong is just one of the very last group of students.
