Honestly, this is so naiive an attempt to go into afghanistan, the population helps to house the Taliban. People want to turn Afghanistan into what they believe is "the right way" as the soldier states, but westernization is not what these people want, and how then can change be brought, when people are unwilling to change? @xXCoalitionXx not for people who have never even thought of firing a gun, or couldn't because they were too young. soldiers train with the idea that you could be shot at any point, and give you a gun to fight with, so at least you have a fighting chance. leveling a city full of innocent civilians will never be comparable to a soldier dying in the first place, no matter what the side so don't try to justify it. no matter the war, civilians should never be a target of such a attack.

@domnikoli I agree with you that civilians are not combatants and shouldn't be involved if at all possible but it was a million vs. 135,000. You try and argue those numbers with a military tactician and he's going with his soldiers everytime. Such was the logic back then. it was a great documentary, but I dont really agree with the methods that the Marines used. In my experience in Afghanistan... I feel they caused more of the locals to side with or even join the Taliban. If you destroy homes and mosques for your own security over there, you defeat your purpose for being over there, because you create your enemy. I have 4 tours in Afghanistan, and will be going back very soon. I applaud the Marines drive, i hope they rethink their methods
