you should see the 1.6L 3 door model :) these are good off road cars, but pretty much suck on the road :D

the 2.4L came out in 2008 for the 2009 year model A.K.A the "GV3", in the title it is stating a 2007 model, and the GV3 has and instant fuel consumption guage underneath the speedo..

@tudaiku: hey friend. You are right about the engine specification. My frnd was in the impression that she has a 2.4! I've verified that it is a 2.0L unit. Thank you my friend :)

i own a Grand Vitara to....it's a slow piece of crap....this car does better on off road...so,if u want a car for highway....DO NOT buy this car..:)

no its the 2.0L variant 2.4L has a new layout....

personally i think he has a lemon. my gv is 0-100 in 10.5secs

@tudaiku : we dont have the 2.0L variant in 5-doors here in UAE. this was the 2.4L variant and I seriously have no idea why it is such an underperformer! And this was a 5 month old car driven by a lady and driven a little over 15k kms
