There is NO REQUIREMENT in the Koran for muslims to eat meat in Non-Islamic Countries. Muhammad travelled through non-Islamic countries and ate the foods of those lands... and pointed out the importance of sharing food with others at table.

Thanking God before doing it is cool too, but for me thanking God before eating it is a must, come on how many animals u and i have personally slaughtered, none. how about vegetarian people they should also pray before eating. So before eating anything thanks God.

@lilMissF0F0 yes the animal feels pain but we must remeber God made everything for us and gave us dominian over all the animals of the land, water and air. in some parts of the world even now animals r the only real source of survival. from the men who fish for a living to land aniamls that provide milk and meat. the world has advanced but never the less our major food intake still comes from the animals. now on massive scale. people like u and i have a chioce, we don't have to eat meat only
