I want to buy one with manual transmission, rear wheel drive. I don't wanna pay extra for automatic and all wheel drive. I prefer the manual anyway. But I want the convertible and I want the idrive as well. How much???
For what? To cart around air? Or the occasional bag a potting soil? Besides, "estates" remind too many people of their childhoods from the 70's in Country Squires and Vista Cruisers.
Guess us dumb ol mericans just aren't sofisticats as you all urpeans.
BMW is the Most Rubbish quality car ever made on Planet earth, tons of continuous problems one after another, look at JD Power IQS rating BMW was and is always below industry average!!!
I think it is time for BMW to lessen their production of needless automobile building. They are wasting too much time and energy building cars. They should begin focusing on more efficient and resourceful automobile manufacturing. Because I would figure it would also take money printing brochures and selling each of the 58 Vehicles produced in their Line-up.
I traded my lexus in for this bmw, greatest decision!! Ever since the toyota incident with the brakes, i am never again buying lexus/toyota again, and beamer was the next best thing for me!!
There is always at least two Audi crybabies boohoo'ing in every BMW forum...I just got my 335i, wouldn't trade it back for the Audi s4 I test drove for nothing. Audi may have a tick more power, but the handling just doesn't feel as balanced. The BMW rides better also, even with RFT's.
I dont know, but in all american reviews, they say that the mpg will low down.
Is that because most american drivers (with no ofense) can't drive a manual properly?
Because here in Brazil and in Europe, cars with a manual transmission are always more economic than the same cars/engines using a convencional automatic transmition.
We should see a new 3 series in the next few years. After all, BMW has already redesigned the 7 series, 5 series, 6 series, X5, X3 and Z4. The 3 is overdue.
i think this guy is mistaken for the 0-60 time, but does anyone know what transmission is the fastest 0-60, the automatic with paddle shifters or the manual???
i think this guy is mistaken for the 0-60 time, but does anyone know what transmission is the fastest 0-60, the automatic with paddle shifters or the manual???
@kilove1 You mean the one that Audi has been developing for 4 years after the 335i has been released and only managed to beat it by 1 tenth of a second even with 33 more bhp and 25 ftlbs and that's slower than the 335is which BMW released in 2010?
@kilove1 Yes the S4 won but I think the answer to the S4 is the 335iS. The regular 335 belongs to the same class as the Audi A4., But definitely the S4 is the champ, The S5 is even the best champ here even though you can't really classify it in the same class as 335I. The S5 is btn a 335i and an M3, I would say, slightly better or even similar to a 335Is. S4 is a kickass car and is quotro. 335i no Xdrive with sports package, maybe they will introduce it soon.
@kilove1 That's sad considering they are on the same playing field, kinda like the M3 and the RS4.. then again BMW has reliable power with those twins. Audi does have the supercar down pat thou..
@naw054 the 328i has a naturally aspirated straight 6 and the 335i has a Turbo (forced induction) i.e a much more powerful engine than the 328i. Not that the 328i inst fast (feels fast) in its on right but the 335i is fast.
Simply one of the best production cars today. As a 3-series owner, I couldn't be more satisfied. Reliable, comfortable, high-quality materials, not that expensive to maintain and certainly the ultimate driving machine. Some may disagree, but in my opinion, there's no reason for paying 100, 200 k for a porsche or a ferrari, uncomfortable cars, extremely expensive to keep, and to be honest I dont see any utility on them. Although, great for showing off, but that's just not my case.
@E74V8 You think the N54 engine is reliable? Are you retarded? Anyone with a 335i knows that the cars are flawed. The High Pressure Fuel Pumps fail repeatedly even at highway speeds.
There are five class-action lawsuits at this very moment. I paid more than 100,000 Canadian for mine. Don't be an idiot, if you read about the HPFP failure before you buy and still buy then you deserve to own a lemon!
@VeritasTruthEmet I am not saying Bmw are perfect, we know that in the past cars such as 7 series and 5 series could be very unreliable. There is this flaw, but overall they are amazing cars. I don't own a e90, unfortunately. Buy a Toyota, you deserve it.
@E74V8 if you do not own one then you have absolutely no basis upon which to endorse a flawed car. So shut the hell up. I do own one and it is from my experience of owning 3 new 3 series cars that I strongly urge any sane person not to buy this car. Do you not feel the least bit stupid after commenting on a car you have never owned? Damned moron.
@VeritasTruthEmet First of, be polite, I didnt offend you in the first palce. I'm sure you wouldn't have the balls to say this at someone's face, an I believe your to old for that. Maybe your just wasn't lucky on your bmw's, but thats not my problem, genereally people love it. I own an e36, and I'm extremely happy with it. It upsets me that Bmw didn't solve the problem yet. But nobody is complaining about e90 328i. Good luck on your next car.
@VeritasTruthEmet 100k for a 335i ? Either you got ripped or you have no idea what it costs and do not own the car. the base 335i costs in the mid 50k. 100k is a loaded M3.
@ChuckyBaby13 you think you're smart: You're not. Its a fully loaded 335i Cabriolet Individual Series. Every option available in Canada is on it. It was purchased new. I got 8k off. Get a clue, twit.
@VeritasTruthEmet I'm probably smarter than you... only a dumbass would put for over 40k of options on a BMW... should have gotten an m3 cabriolet instead with a couple of options...or how about a base m5?
@ChuckyBaby13 you do realize Canadians use Canadian dollars, right? Or did you not catch that one? (Here's the point: Canadian dollars are not American dollars; they're two different currencies). Now google currency or call a friend to find out why you come off retarded. Thanks for playing.
@VeritasTruthEmet WAIT A SEC. I just priced out a 335i vert on bmw.ca. $68.9k base price + $3.9k for individual, + $2k for nav, +1.2k for audiophile, + 1.7k auto trans, +1.5k active steering = 79.2k before 13% tax and 2k delivery fee (including licensing and crap). All in thats Around 91.5k WITHOUT negotiating. You said you got a 8k discount and you still paid over 100k? How is that possible.
@Rushvile your price is very close to the mark. The final cost in 2008 when I bought it, in MTL from Canbec BMW (same city as that moron Chuck) was 98,590.00
Add in the following: Sat, ipod config and adaptor, individual logic 7 (sound better than audiophile), alarm, cd changer, invisible rock protection bib, road hazard warranty, leather warranty and you have the difference.
@Rushvile it was over 100k when you add in the 2nd set of rims and tires (6k) which I use for summer. As you know, if you live in Ontario or Quebec, you need to have winter tires by law. Like I said below, your math is very close to what I paid. I am not going to rebuild it online but in two years the price variance makes sense, especially with the introduction of the N55 engine. Also, the ipod, alarm, cd changer, and road hazard warranties are only available from the dealer not online.
@VeritasTruthEmet Makes sense. I don't know the prices for options for 2008, but it probably did cost more since the e90/91/92/93 was newer back then. Also, just a FYI, winter tires are not required by law in Ontario. Although it makes sense to have them, it is not law (not yet anyways).
@VeritasTruthEmet lol I am canadian. I live in Montreal Qc Can. Your claim still doesnt make any sense. The cabriolet is 60k Canadian currency (base price). You are telling me that you put over 40k of option ( because 60+40=100 just in case your retarded brain can't do the math) ARE YOU THAT STUPID?!?
@VeritasTruthEmet Id like to see that but you have not posted any videos. therefore you have no proof whatsoever. If true, ur dumb for paying 100k for a 335...
