the outro part's dual guitar part is wrong.you should go from the b minor with one guitar and d minor with the other one. that will harmonize the dual guitar part

it's like this. when you press to the second fret of A string which is a b with one guitar

and with the other you press the fifth fret of A string you'll see how the harmonies going,try it.

whats your set up cause im trying to get as close to this tone and your damn close to it for this song surely u remember how to configure your amp, pedals whatever in order to play this as correct as it is???

i just got a digitech rp 500 so im new to building tone from scratch

Thanks man....I can't remember my exact settings.But you have to put reverb on both(clean and distorted) channels.On the clean channel i also used a chorus effect.

Why do people strum all the strings on the melody. its not suppose to sound like a full G or a full C chord.

OMG...have you ever heard of backing tracks where only drums and bass plays?...you can make them yourself with fruity-loops or similar programs or download them from sites like guitarbt(dot)com.If you want to i can send you the backing track per E-mail to prove it.

thanks man...on the intro solo i used pretty much distortion with the effects reverb and chorus.

for me, it doesnt feel like a real les paul

because the body is so thin and light. i'm skeptical of whether it has a maple top or any top at all.

but i think it soudns amazing though. i havnt played mine in forever kuz i let my friend borrow it. i kinda miss it.

Well, that's because it's not a standard les paul STANDARD its a les paul STUDIO, its meant to be lighter. The lp studio was made in the 80's specifically for recording studio's. all they did was take of the fancy bells and whistles which didn't contribute to the sound they also made it thinner therefore making it lighter.
