@funkybunny9966 Its still there. I heard japan bought it and is taking the 2 diesel motors for one of their ships which is similar and scraping the rest of the metal.
@jamescrf150r Yea was just there on May 23rd, 2011, it looks worse, I swear it has moved a little, now the Queen and Princess are sitting with it since they are not in operation for the summer, i hope they too don't become like the LS. What a shame. Anyone have any word on when they are going to dismantle it?
@jamescrf150r Yea your totally right, just it seemed to have drifted and i thinks its cause the high H20 makes it appear so. I know that close to the shore on the slough is shallow.
I worked on the ship for about 10 years we cruised all the way to Barrens Island. It was my life and it brings tears to my eyes to see it rotting away. those days when i worked on the ship were the best days of my life.
Stepping foot on this thing isn't a wise idea, first of all who knows what's living in there now and it's probably infested with rats and the such. Second, the floors on this thing could be rotton.
Neat tune. Same sound as the Boards of Canada. Is it them?
