  • This was a good story. I haven't seen this one since maybe the early 80's during my childhood years.

  • Who's playing that cow? Is it Jerry Nelson? I heard that he and Richard Hunt do pretty darn convincing female voices.

  • yea. slimey is orange

  • When I was a kid, I always thought Slimey looked like a crinkle cut French Fry!

  • That was good and it's true that the worm didn't look like Slimey. Besides, he lives with Oscar. Also, I think Little Bird had a different voice than usual. I think he/she was played by Jerry Nelson rather than Fran Brill in this one.

  • "I'm sorry, but we haven't any room. You'll have to sleep in the house."

  • Heh heh..."Take off!"

Sounds like Oscar says "Roaches live in trash cans." I mean, it's "Grouches," obviously, but the cow sort of talks over him and it sounds like roaches. And I think it's fair to presume Oscar shares his home with a fair number of roaches.

  • Who played Lola?

  • Yea! Good story!!! :-) This must be from the 70s- great to see Little Bird, Slimey, Oscar and Gladys all in there! And I think that's the first time I've ever heard Slimey talk!

  • i dont think thats slimey. as far as i saw the worm was yellow with black stripes. And during the 70's, 80's, 90's, Slimey never talked, & not even peeped a sound until now.
