  • A job i would never do... :)

  • @franklinbrooks45 HA HA HA HA NOT

  • SO NOT COOL

  • don't kill tyhe snake he is so cute and only 2 what if someone killed u while u were 2 go to hell

  • @DJeshan100 It's an invasive species, so being removing this snake it helps keep the Everglades environment healthy. It truly doesn't belong

  • Human stamina is pathetic for a mammal, but humans can still easily outlast a cold blooded animal in a fight. Try human vs dog, dog always wins unless human has a weapon or overpowers the dog in a hold. Humans are an ambush predator, so we often hold a distinct power advantage against cold blooded animals and against non-ambush predators. Of course there are non-predators like the horse, cow, ox, gorilla and elephant that are way stronger than ourselves. But they are not predators.

  • Thats smart to wear open toed shoes and Cargoes

  • F**k that! Kill em on the spot with a shotgun and #2 shot to the head. Nothing good comes from Asia/China ,kill it all! Keep this stuff out of the country.

  • Shotgun therapy ??

  • where would you "get them out of" there? what will happen to the ones rounded up?

  • @BBoyr4dic4l Removing pythons is a common procedure for many wildlife officials here in South Florida. Most capture phytons will be killed and dissected to study their stomach content and analyze their feeding behavior.

  • what are the odds that the python population will make its way northward into southeastern woodland? or do they need swamps? i was under the impression that they came from asia where they live in woodland / jungle, not swamps.

  • @DieTheDeath Thees Burmese Pythons came from South East Asia. The weather plays a crucial factor in how for North the population will spread. Thanks for watching.

  • Wouldn't be a problem if stupid owners didn't release them.

  • @sorryunlucky It's not just the previous owner to be blamed. Hurricane Andrew's destruction caused many reptiles to escape in large numbers from their exotic importers ...

  • @ojatro exotic importers were the previous owners.

  • @geoh7777 Not really. Tehy where just the link between the the original location and the future reptile owners.

  • that guy is creepy

  • that would be nice job,to kill dam snakes

  • It's not really that complicated. They have the potential to destroy the entire ecosystem which is in balance when only native species are present. A top predator thows off the balance. A March 2010 research paper reported that 25 different bird species, including the endangered wood stork, had been found in the digestive tracts of pythons in Everglades National Park, highlighting “the potential for considerable negative impact of this invasive species on native bird populations.”

  • @floyd1977us Nature is way more flexible and will find its way around any exotic invaders in or near the Everglades. The ecosystem will most certainly not collaps because of an established breeding population of burmese pythons and any other invasive species in South Florida. Men has created far more damage through irrigation, agro culture, construction, pollution to mention a few... Thanks for watching.

  • Do you like to experience other cultures and utilize technology?

  • @Bhomein I do come from a different culture and utilize technology on a daily bases (like most of us do).

  • are you still alive?? i saw the python bid you like 3 times

  • @liudxdx hahaha ikr he was like "OW!" i was like" oh crap!!!"

  • your job is to kill those snakes!!! protect florida!! too many snakes man!!!!

  • @Soulfide My job is to film wildlife. Thanks for watching.

  • @albatored You have no work (videos) on your own but you're flagging other peoples work. Get a life man.

  • I found him!

  • 1. Gators have killed many people but no documented case of a python killing an adult human. Pythons cannot swallow a grown up human.

    2. Pythons eats rats, mice, varmints and other stray animals keeping environment clean

    3. Pythons make better pets. Gators rarely do.

    4. Pythons are non venomous and leave humans alone

Why hate the Burmese pythons ? Just because its not native to US. They didn't come here on their own. I would kill 100 gators to save one python. You should be the one put to sleep

  • @fuckvegan Do some research on what top predators do to environments they are not native to.

  • @floyd1977us ha ha..you mean what we did to america when our ancestors drove away the Indians ? Research my ass. Instead of asking me to do research why don't you give some valid points as to why a Burmese python any worse than an alligator in the US soil. Oh I'm sorry you don't have any

  • @fuckvegan um im indian and tht really isnt nice

  • There are always freaks that are so brainwashed by TV programing, visual manipulation, trained actors and 10 person film crew around - they can't tell a real guy from fakes. Forgive them Joe.

Steve Irving was great but he should have not done scuba-diving. He was out of his element. I miss him though.

  • fake and gay.how come you go directly where he was.

  • kill that python. protect the florida wildlife

  • i catch snakes and other animals such as pitbulls pet exotics zoo escapies man eating cats ive never been bit would never handle 1 like that i have removed over 1000 snakes in my job nd probs a agresive dog every day ocasional big cats nd crocs be more carefull

  • How about: They are not indigenous species in this region! huh?

I am certainly not against rabbits or rats, or... choose any of those that were brought to other places by humans and then drove native ones to extinction. People think they are animal lovers becouse they shout: Don't kill! Don't catch! Let them prosper!

This is NOT good reasoning or care for nature! This is plain stupidity!

  • His assistant was very afraid. Maybe he should seek another job because he was that frighten that he had troubles to get the job done quickly.

  • Just think seeing a 23ft beast like that while on a stroll in FL. I say forget taking them alive as the snake is not native, and can desimate the native species.

You can only have so many snakes in the nations zoos.

  • not a pro at all lol

  • fail bagging at 1:36

  • dont pretend ur steve irwin

  • @pi33ups Joe Wasilewski is an established wildlife conservationist, extremely professional with over forty years of experience in the wildlife business. I hope this says it all. Thanks for watching.

  • Why hasn't Florida made it illegal to own these things? Now because of the idiot owners who can't get enough attention without owning a snake, they are a nuisance pest that is costing the FL taxpayer hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in removal and control. Here's another idea, make all those who do or have owned one pay for the removal of these non-native stupid creatures. They should be shot and killed on site and eradicated completely from the state.

  • @ND4ZPD1 You got it. They better go all-out on the eradication now because the problem won't get smaller by itself.

  • @ND4ZPD1 I like the snakes and I am glad they are in the ever glades. They are good for the environment. I wish all these faggit moron clowns would just leave them alone there is no reason to go in there and hunt them your just pointlessly killing snakes. Do you really think the hand full of snakes your grab does anything to the population at large ? when I breed my Burms I am going to throw the babies right in the ever glades! Your an invasive species dick !

  • @ProEugenics52 GOOD for the environment? Are you an idiot or are you just stupid?

  • @ProEugenics52 Thank you. These snakes ARE NOT an INVASIVE species. Us humans are. IF they were so invasive how can they survive so well?? It is the same climate as south america and indonesia where pythons and boas are from. I hate these people that claim they are destroying the environment. It is an animal, it is meant to live in the wild. And last time I checked, the everglades were. So I agree with you

  • old video!!!

  • stop playing around and shoot them on sight

  • I've never eaten snakes, so I can't advice you on its taste. Thanks for watching

  • @ojatro taste like chicken

  • @ojatro

I have had rattlesnake while in Texas and I can say IT DON'T taste like chicken.

  • hey ojatro, I know some people eat snakes, do snake meat delicious ?

  • Make a nice pair of boots !

  • why are they trying to get them out of the everglades?

  • @KWLization They are destroying the wildlife system in the everglades.

  • @fedism and why?

  • If they are so invasive and damaging to natural wildlife, why do you catch and release? Kill them and leave them there. Maybe the local wildlife would develope a taste.

  • get feds to pay to hunt pythons!! wild organic python til they are gone. It is doable

  • The only good python is Monty Python

  • fuck that little stick,my choice of weapon is a 12gauge with buck shot...

  • i would keep the burmese python in favor of removing ugly unfit filipino women.

  • People dont realize Burmese Pythons arent natural to the Everglades. They are from BURMA, derp. They are rapidly changing the ecology of the Everglades, just like wasps are changing Hawaii's

  • too late.. i dont think u can get those pythons out now... theyre hatching snakes all over the everglades..Looks like your stuck with them

  • can't never got nothing done

  • Every year there is a Rattle snake roundup. Why not have a Python roundup every year in FLA! It could be a festival. Great for the economy and great for the environment! WINNING!!

  • @MattWhitton1 Great Idea!!

  • @MattWhitton1 yeah...and lots of dead idiots that think they can handle a python...human population control also

  • final someone who dosent want to kill them but catch and put back in natural habitat

  • Hi, you got any tips on how to catch these things. I live in Thailand and keep ducks. They ave been going missing and last night i went out and saw a huge python in the lake actually constricting a duck. They are native here and i want to catch it and release it in the jungle.

In their native land they are getting very rare as people eat them and sell their skin so i don't want to kill this thing. There are lots of houses here and i thinjk its lucks to have got so big. Thanks.

  • I'd straight stomp it's head in

  • wish i could really help.. if i wasnt scared too death to snakes. call me indy...LOL

  • Only good python is a dead python

  • @MsMusic31029 Or a Colt Python :)

  • @MsMusic31029 People invaded their territory so leave them teh fuck alone. They're the most beautifull animals on earth.

  • @MrBeeMeR320D theyre not supposed to be in florida... people have burmese pythons as pets and other snakes that arent suppose to be there and are ruining the environment...

  • @MsMusic31029 So not true. Pythons are great for rodent control. And, if they bite you, you don't have to get rushed to a hospital to get anti venom!!

  • @cherob1984 Well that makes perfect sense...lol! Now I don't need to worry about dying from a venomous bite - the python will just squeeze me to death.

  • Hm, right now every balance between pythons, alligators and monitors seems to turn out. I´m really wondering if that isn´t something like "revolution of the nature". I mean, the dinosaurs left the earth, many kinds of wolves also (well thank the humans ^^) and also many other animals. Well, it´s just a littl' idea, but sooner or later one of these three predators will vanish... :/

  • @Rimfaxe96 Unless you have proof of the burms swimming from the Indo-China peninula all the way to the glades without any assistance from man then your "revolution of nature" thinking is fallible. Nature has nothing to do with this.

  • That snake better not have been killed

  • @pikmin123456 These idiots kill these poor snakes who have been released by the owners and they bred. We should eradicate all the people first from Florida since they are not native.

  • Crusty! Your and idiot?? Learn your facts before you open your mouth..

  • U deserve to get bit leave the fucking pythons out in the wild.

  • @FUXUPSSHITBRA4569

You obviously have no knowlege of Ecology.

  • @FUXUPSSHITBRA4569 Why? So they can they can kill off the native species? Screw that! Decapitate, skin, gut & chop up the meat for the native predators to feed on & make money off the skins. Works for me!

  • stupid there is only one way 2 perminatly remove a snake wat u gunna pay over 300 $ to relocate or make a profit off boots and bags they hurt the enviorment blow 'em away u fuckin liberal

  • @Inquisitor53: you have become arrogant in your power and your ego is making you think you are saving the 'glades from destruction'. It's a natural reaction to your achievements. Slowly but surely as you age and your body will creeple with wrinkles and diseases, you will remember the sins you have done in this life time by killing snakes. Shiva will help you if you pray him.

  • @yogitavijay you are a fucking retard. If shiva had some chickens get eaten he would turn them into boots to you retard! Your a bleeding heart loser and I'll bet you are a hypocrite as you are most likely wearing leather shoes and eating meat from an animal that is raised in a cage...

  • @yogitavijay You know nothing about Ecology either.

  • As far as I know, all the feral burms in Florida died this past winter because it got too cold. Just like all the knowledgeable people said would happen. Tropical animals don't hibernate.

  • stop killing snakes or u will be punished in this life time if not in next

  • @yogitavijay So you're saying that in my efforts to try & save the 'glades from destruction due to an imported invasive species by killing every python I come across I'll suffer bad karma? I doubt it.

If anything God's going to give me a medal for killing all the pythons I decapitated, skinned, & hacked up into bite-size chunks to feed the NATIVE predators in my efforts to save the Everglades since man put pythons there and not him. You've got a screwed up sense of karma, dude. And I sure...

  • @Inquisitor53 ...won't be punished in this lifetime because very few people are stupid enough to even try to stop me. Extremely few people know the 'glades the way I do with all of it's dangerous & deadly flora & fauna. If you want to try it feel free to play 'Hunt the Cracker' but I suggest you don't. Those that tried died long before they got anywhere near me due to having more emotions than brains.

  • @Inquisitor53 I guess I owe you an apology. Well, here it is: I'm sorry your gov. is an idiot, I'm sorry that despite science you still choose to be an idiot, and I'm sorry that despite all your tough guy talk, that you aren't intimidating anyone.

  • for once, i think killing a snake is ok. i love reptiles, but i dont want to see american alligators pushed to extinction becuase of an invasive species.

  • @TitWarlord Not only gators but due to pythons indiscreminate feeding habits all native wildlife is in peril from them.

  • this guy sucks lmfao

  • they are like bed bugs. it will be hard to remove them

  • Fuck all this python bans and shit. There will never be bans on pythons or snakes. Snakes are a multi bilion dollar a year industry. People like Bob clark, Mike Wilbanks, Will and Mary leary have made there living from selling pythons and snakes and no one will ever take pythons away from us. So the government can fuck off and try to take snakes away from us, because it will never happen. I have been keeping snakes for 15 years and I will keep them until the day I die. "Justin"

  • @88Tdwp it's just that when some idiot thinks its a good idea to let his python go in the wild is when there's a problem.

  • @88Tdwp What's that you say? "there will never be bans on pythons..." I guess FL governor Charlie Crist signing the ban into law here in Florida made that piss-poor prediction fall flat, just like I knew it would. Excuse me while I gloat! ROFLMAO!!

  • damn i would be in the battle tank when come close to this

  • In Burma a few pythons live in my ranch near the jungle. I never try to get any python hurt. Sometime they visit my hut for a while and then go back to their place.

  • @saishwebo That's where they belong, that's where they need to stay!

  • @Inquisitor53

Snakeowners are crybabies? All you've done for the past several months is call people names and make up all kinds of stories and "facts". If you want anyone to take you seriously, start showing some respect to those you have disagreements with and back up your statement with credible sources.

  • @snakepunk13 Well how about our Governor signing into law the python ban about two months ago? How's that for a fact? Credible source on this? How about you let a FDLE officer see you walking down our streets with a python in your hands? Chipped or not, he will confiscate your pet until they can verify it's chipped & you prove you've a permit for it. You can't even buy a burm & 7 other python species in this state legally now.

I told all of you this would happen, yet you did nothing...

  • @Inquisitor53 ...to help your cause in the manner I suggested. Instead y'all decided to give me a lot shit about. I'll just wallow in the gloat & pass this message on to every one of you while laughing at your loss due to your own blinded passion. Karma sucks doesn't it? HAAAAAA!!

  • All you python owners, quit being crybabies & face facts. The senate bill passed! HELL YES!! It's time to give 'em up! Time to give up you exotic, invasive species. After we FINALLY clear the Everglades of them may we all learn the lesson of the destructiveness exotic reptiles can bring to a sensitive environment & NEVER import them again!

  • Human Deaths Caused By Animals/per year

    Horses/219

    Dogs/14

    Reticulated pythons/0.3

    Burmese pythons/0.1

    Other pythons/0.0

    Boa constrictors/0.0

    Other boas/0.0

  • @snakepunk13 It doesn't matter now. The governor has signed the ban & it is now a FL law. So, like I told you, your talking points were moot, non-sequitor. You didn't win. You lost. You fell flat. You're a LOSER. You got egg on your face.

Damn! I love it when I'm proven right!

    and I love to gloat...

  • Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States seeks medical attention for a dog biterelated injury.

During 19791998, dog attacks killed more than 300 Americans.

Nearly 800,000 people sought medical care for dog bites in 1994; half of them were children under 18.

From the CDC Injury Factbook: Dog Bites

  • @snakepunk13 Wah,wah, wah. It's over, our side won. Your side lost. Any more "facts" you want to give us? ROFLMAO!!

  • I'm an out of state hunter, just bought liscences to hunt them in fla, any advice on how to find them?

  • just call animal control and ask about any reports, then just search the area of the report

or just drive down the dirt roads around dusk

  • @vtredsox In either a canoe or airboat go out to the hammocks (tree islands). The small ones will be in the tree branches, the larger ones (if you want to make money off their skins) will be amongst the leaf litter. Damn hard to spot a lot of times, they camoflauge well. Take a live rat or rabbit in a cage to the hammock & set it down. In a few hours you'll have your python.

  • snakepunk... you are mistaken that it is illegal to hunt these pythons; in fact as you and as i type, there is a hunt going on... all you need is a florida hunting license and a 26 dollar snake season license. So as far as everyday hunting maybe yes it is illegal, but since they have a special season right now... you are incorrect.

  • It is ILLEGAL to hunt pythons in Florida.

I would also like to know where you are getting your information from about them surviving in South Carolina.

These animals CANNOT and WILL NOT survive outside southern Florida. Further more almost every burmese python in the everglades has died from south florida's recent cold snap.

Name calling and childish attitudes are a poor substitute for science.

  • Now they're saying that only about half of them died over the winter.

  • Who is "they"? If it's the people (falsely) claiming that there are more than 100,000, then there would be over 50,000 dead.

  • @snakepunk13 HAAAA! You're truly showing your ignorance of Florida. A year ago you needed a license. Now it's a LAW that if you see one outside you must do all that you can to KILL it, preferably decapitation, using a sharp machete. Call or email theFWC. Get the facts.

  • @Inquisitor53

Can you give me more information on this supposed law (title, chapter, etc). I cannot find information on this anywhere else. I find this (like most of your claims) a little too hard to believe.

  • @snakepunk13 Damn man, just call them toll-free! 888-404-3922 Just ask the officer answering the phone. Afterwards I expect an apology from you for even thinking you know more about what goes on my own backyard than I do.

  • @Inquisitor53 Why would I apologize to you? You've been making statements that, again and again, you either cannot or refuse to substantiate. The burden of proof lies with you, my friend.

You also really need to take a deep breath and calm down.

  • @snakepunk13 Just call them. They've all the proof you need.

  • Comment removed

  • I watched AP last night and they had a special on BP's.They are finding them everywhere in Fl and said they can live as far up as Ky if they had to under certain circumstances.Scary and kill all those damn things please .

  • Animal planet should know better. Apparently sensationalism gets better ratings than facts. The truth of the matter is that Burmese pythons cannot survive outside southern Florida. Anyone who says they could inhabit KY is either lying or an idiot.

  • @snakepunk13 They're now in central Florida (Orlando - Daytona area) & expending ever northward in spite of our record winter. Please explain this fact if, according to you, they cannot survive outside of south Florida.

  • @Inquisitor53

Once again, where are you getting this from?

  • @snakepunk13 And you're getting your "facts" from where, USARK? No bias there, huh? They're already in central Florida but you wouldn't believe it even if you saw the proof with your own eyes. That's why it would do you no good to come to Florida for proof, even upon seeing one you'd swear it was planted. Now THAT is truly blind & there are none so blind as those that refuse to see. I know, you don't want to be confused by the facts.

  • @Inquisitor53

Yeah, I would think a diverse organization of reptile breeders might know quite a about reptile breeding.

  • @snakepunk13 And you're getting your "facts" from where, USARK? No bias there, huh? They're already in central Florida but you wouldn't believe it even if you saw the proof with your own eyes, even upon seeing one you'd swear it was planted. Now THAT is truly blind & there are none so blind as those that refuse to see. I know, you don't want to be confused by the facts.

  • Where are you getting your information that there are 150,000 "giant" snakes in the glades? If there were, the state-sanctioned hunt would certainly found a lot more.

Like I've said before, this is all animal "rights" bs that is being sensationlized with media hype exploited by some biologist (who should know better) to receive grant money.

  • they found a whopping 37...um, that's not exactly 150,000

  • @snakepunk13 uhhh you are quite full of shit my friend!!!these snakes are able to live as far north as the carolinas and climb trees to hunt other prey, but what do I know I just live in Florida and have seen the mother fuckers and will kill them on site without remorse, fuck them non indigenous species and the sorry ass fuckers who let them go into everglades!!!!!!and fuck snake lovers they are the reason we are in this mess, sorry ass shitheads

  • no, burmese pythons CANNOT live in the carolinas, or even outside the 'glades, it is simply too cold.

and they are not there because someone released, but because of hurricane andrew.

  • actually moron they were there b4 andrew u idiot people released and they got out has alot to do with there population.. then they started breading get your facts faggot

  • hay idiot if u read the facts and artical it said the snakes were a problem but during hurcane andrew many esscape so get yo shit strait nigga

  • 69batman691, can you produce the name of ONE individual who was convicted of releasing burmese python in the everglades? until you do that, your "facts" are just not there.

furthermore genetic studies have proven that the animals that were there (many of them died in the recent cold snap), can be traced back to the importers who lost their buildings in the 1992 hurricane.

  • by the way, if your name-calling and childish attitude are any sort of indication of your intelligence level, than i am obviously wasting my time with you

  • hmm k faggot there were burm in everglades b4 the hurican moron thats a fact but the huricane did have alot to do with its population but its no the source idiot it did release more but there was a problem b4 the hurican.... bam fag suck my cock

  • @169batman691 You call me a "faggot", but then tell me to give you oral sex (?). You must be as confused on the python issue as you are about your own sexuality.

  • @1388dimevader Yeah, we need more control over who gets to own exotic species. All exotic species need gps trackers implanted into them so we can track them.

Now, capturing them live is ok for zoos and returning them back to burma, but killing them is also good. There should be a python hunting party to go across the everglades in a straight line and kill any pythons they see.

  • @1388dimevader is there any proof any one has deliberately released these pythons into the wild? whats that? no one has ever been arrested for it? shut the fuck up

  • @TACGNOLTACGNOL Again for the last time I'll tell you contact FWC, Miami-Dade police dept, Monroe Co. Sheriffs Office, & FHP. Ask them blindboy. It's okay, I know how you'll excusethat away too; that all that information was planted in their records by the state so the state can get more money, right? So why bother asking if you won't believe the state's arrest records?

  • @Inquisitor53 Its just that I'v never seen an article about "man caught dumping pet burmese python in the everglades" which I would assume the florida government as well as HSUS and PETA would be dying to get their hands on so they can have PROOF that it was reptile owners dumping snakes in the everglades.

  • @TACGNOLTACGNOL Again, get back to me after you check out my sources instead of dishing out suppositions. Then we'll talk.

  • I have watched many videos about this same issue. No one has mentioned how to properly catch one. These things could kill humans...all the talk is "wildlife shit". What about small children?

  • Somebody beat me to it.

I did however, get one yesterday at Cypress Creek Preserve! A nice 6 footer. It's hide will make for a beautiful snake-skin covered belt, purse, & matching accessories for my daughter! The rest I hacked up & tossed into the creek for the gators to snack on.

    Invader casualties:

    Total captured..... 0

    Total wounded.... 0

    Total killed......... 35

  • you're a douche, I hope it eats you! Leave the thing alone!

  • pf: You're an idiot. You know nothing of the Everglades the ecological damage this snake has done to this environment but you don't care.

That's why I'm all for banning exotic snakes. Not the 1st one of you are showing enough concern about the exotics in the 'glades to get off bitchey-asses and ask, "How can we help?"

When you learn to have more concern for the environment they're destroying then about the snake causing the destruction then you can deem yourself worthy of posessing one.

  • Until then if you not willing to help then S.T.U.F. & don't get in the way.

If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.

  • Comment removed

  • People like you are the problem, tough guy.

  • You still haven't named ANY ecological damage from burms (because their isn't any).

However, idiots with guns and no common sense can be dangerous.

  • Read the October issue of Outdoor Life, page 8. It's only four paragraphs long but it speaks volumes. Reat it, then talk your shit.

  • If you don't think there is ecological damage, or almost-certain future ecological damage, from 150,000 giant snakes loose in South Florida, then you must be a seriously dim light, my friend.

  • You're right, I dont know much about the glades because I hate the everglades. This is just what we are all talking about in American people. We are all so goddamn ignorant it makes me sick...you need to blame the shithole people that bought these snakes and released them into the wild and hunt them down and prosecute them! I guess FL residents are just so fucking ignorant they cant keep a pet snakes or read the info before buying one. Sounds like you might have the same prob?

  • Blame? Hell yes! I blame the short-sighted idiots that don't bother thinking beyond "Hey, don't I look cool with this exotic snake!" Not all Florida residents, just the transplanted ones. Most of us native folk that have snakes have native snakes. We know how delicate the Florida environment is & we don't want to disrupt it. I don't own reptiles myself but I will transport native snakes from an urban setting to a wilderness habitat that best suits them, even the poisonous varieties.

  • I've transported moccosins, rattlers, coral snakes, all out of urban settings where they bound to be killed by humans, their pets or machines, and relocated them in a habitat that best suits them. At one time I ate rattler but their numbers have been so depleted by housing & business construction that I now take them a safer haven.

However, every python I see loose in the Florida wilds I consider already dead because I keep all my blades razor-sharp & my 24" -blade machete stays close at hand.

  • @Inquisitor53 Did it taste like chicken? o:

  • @Inquisitor53 the everglades wouldn't be so delicate if humans had stayed away

  • @TACGNOLTACGNOL So what is your solution to the 'human' problem? If you have no feasible solution then why make bother making the statement, unless it's because you just like to bitch. If that's the case take some Midol & get over your PMS before posting again.

  • It is illegal in Florida to release an exotic species. No one has ever been convicted releasing burms into glades, but yet for some strange reason, this idea that they are released pets keeps getting repeated. They are there as a result of hurricane andrew destroying the buildings belonging to importers in the Miami region.

  • Would these be the same Florida officials and state biologist who stand to receive tax-payer paid grant money for this "problem"?

Perhaps you should read and consider the other side of the issue.
