I have a 2010 TRV 550 with only 4,643 km`s blow 2 engines, first one the the Rod Bearing was defective (solds lots of them and NO RECALL I was told 4 others came in like mine at the dealer) second engine seized up and Oil was changed on time and it was OK.
One thing I have to say about I`ll NEVER EVER BUY OR OWN ANOTHER ARTIC CAT sure good on the trail but as workmanship in the Engine its TOTAL ARTIC SCRAP ... NO BULL
I sold it two years ago. I still ride a rental Doo once and awhile, but mostly I ride a Nytro MCXpress 180 machine with some other toys. Loving it!! The new E-Techs are impressive feeling, but they still got nothing on the nytro...

Yamaha are amazing. Only trouble changing the battery on a Apex.
No Oil never change the belt....It's the price you pay. The Evil Battery
