if it wasn't for the wii there wouldn't be any project natal, actually if there wasn't any eye toy there might not have been a project natal, ps2 was the first system to have a game where "you" are the controller, then wii went and made controllers that worked similar to it with its wii remotes, and now xbox

If you flick the remote after you jump off a ramp, your character does a trick on the vehicle he/she's using. It also gives you a speed boost after you hit the ground.
