I'm the last one to support Obama.
But
I believe Michelle wanted to say something about her race like "For the first time in my adult lifetime, as an Africa American woman, I'm (really) proud of my country" but while she was saying it she realized that would have been politically incorrect and changed it on the fly.
Because if she did say that, then everything would have fit perfectly. But there would have been the race issue then.
But then again she did make that speech twice.

Classic, I think you make a good case for Michelle, but then it also just shows how out of touch she is with Americans outside her Hyde Park, Chicago, Trinity Church bubble. She has been campaigning for Obama for a long time, if she didn't know better, then someone inside of the campaign should either teach her how to talk to the "whole" country, or they should keep her out of the campaign. That speach was probably written for it and either she wanted to add it, or it was in there and she had to squash it. We will never know. Funny thing is if she meant to add it she still can not admit it. Notice they did very little to defend the way it came out? It was best just to let it fade away as much as possible.

Classic, I've listened to her hour+ speeches on C-Span (actually, I couldn't get past 45 minutes of it, to be honest), and she was the most depressing, dismal, dreary, negative person I have ever heard. Obama, if he talks about something negative or if he talks about problems in the country, mixes it up with positive, hopeful speech that is uplifting, as a presidential candidate should. Michelle makes me want to slit my wrists when she drones on and on and on in such negative tones/terms/views.

I agree about Michelle. But I can not watch Obama because after he's done he actually said nothing. Hope and Change are catchy words, but I want to hear why, when, and especially how. He past history is as far left as you can get. He panders to gun owner's while he votes to take guns away. He voted 130 times as a no-vote, and hit the wrong vote button 6 times. He passed one bill and had no meetings as Chairman of the Oversight Committee for Afghanistan in 16 months. What's to like? Talk?

When we capture him we have to read him his US rights, charge him with a crime within 72 hours, collect evidence at the scene, control the scene from contamination, interview witnesses and take statements and pictures, control the evidence all while being shot at. Thats just at the point of capture.
How do you supheona non american witnesses to appear in court during trial.
