look, go to curse.com download the curse client thing when you do that go to get more addons press install YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT TAKES LIKE 5 MINUTES THIS WORKS I JUST DID IT PS. SOME ADDONS ARE OUT DATED BUT NOT THAT MUCH

If you cant find your WoW folder then;

1. Start

2. Search for WoW.exe

3. Right click WoW.exe

4. Open folder location.

nvm, after u go to interface>addons and transfer the addon into it then re launch wow and it will show up. It only shows up when u have an actual add-on installed.

Curse client is unreliable and puts extra files when you uninstall it so that a popup will occur each time you boot up the computer. Not to mention all the possibilities of spyware with it. Manual install is a heck of a lot safer and less irksome in the long run. If you can manage it, do it.

download addon into wow interface folder, extract the file, copy the extracted file and paste it in the interface/addon folder.

voila now you got the addon in interface and addon folder.

and that is how I made 50 addons work

the addon button is only to show you addons you can adjust/modify, if you only download a random addon or a small one you will not see the addon button because there is no modifying you can do to the addon in-game!
