One of the best live videos I've ever seen, the place is just chaos and rightly so, because the tune and performance are both amazing. Excellent band.
Hardcore is still there digmaggio6969, just not like it used to be. I could name a few newer hardcore bands, but doubt you'd be interested.
On the other hand, if you're from the UK then one of my best friends is putting on a reunion show for Floorpunch, 1 show in Leeds, 1 show in London. Leeds show is November the 2nd, tickets £10, it's gonna be fucking awesome, giving hardcore a much needed boost in the UK. So if anyone lives there be sure to come, support them, don't let hardcore die!
yeah, I hear ya. I was drinking and playa hatin the other night. civ was actually one of the best and kindest out there at the time. sundance long island 89 was the 1st time i got handed the mike, better than you crew. so there tough guy
this looks like it could be from a show at the Safari Club in Washington, DC. Safari's stage was that small and the shows there were wild-- GB played there several times between 1988 & '90. It had a big ass disco ball above front of the stage that people always got smacked by when they stage dove.
two steppin originated a long time ago. Now the stupid mosh metal kids bastardized it. See the video for "Step Down" by sick of it all and you will see the different styles from 80's up. We just called it by different names back in the day, and it was cooler than the mosh metal crap of the day.
Don't talk to me about dancing. douche. I was "skanking" when your mommy was driving you hot topic. If you knew anything you would know that they are basically one in the same.
Stupid fuck, I'll zombie crawl on your face and two step on your fucking head. Show you how they do where I'm from.
I request these guys on our local "Ska Punk" hour on the radio station, and every time it never gets put on. I was listening to these guys 20 years ago. XXX
Were any of them straight edge at the time? AFAIK maybe only Sammy, and Porcell (on his second strike) Is Porcell sporting the ponytail that was growing on the last Judge 7"? Did they play a gig in DC where someone wore leather trousers? Saw them in '89 and never bothered in '91, just love to recirculate the rumours.
very good recording especially for back then.
