Europe was also in a big debit with the US, and if europe was conquered by nazis that debt wouldn't have been payed, that's also half of the motivation for America to help. How dare you and everone else on here belittle American invovlment in WW2. My grandfather fought for the US in WW2 and he is a true hero that helped liberate europe. to say that they arrived too late is absurd, if we never came the brits would have eventually been defeated once Germany reconsalidated and won on the eastern front (inevitable had the western allies not opened a second front). Yes we came after pearl harbor thurst us into the war.

@whiteyovsoton Nope, not by a long shot, but the US was essential for victory, just as the brits were. But US involvment is often downplayed and underestimated by non-americans. A lot of americans admittingly overestimate and exagerate americas war involvment but the truth is America was vital for victory (just like the brits) and europeans try to downplay that FACT.

Germans developed the first stealth technology during WWII by 2 brothers though never got used. Great documentary on it from National Geographic. When it comes down to it, Germans usually invent it or make it much better. Otto Cycle engines for example. Diesel engines...
