@RoyalFustercluck well, my first snake was a ball python, it's super easy to care for. The only thing that's a little difficult is the eating. My ball python was a grown up, who didnt like his new house. He didnt eat for 6 month! But sometime during the seventh month when i tried to feed him, he almost came through the glass on the terrarium when he saw the mouse. But other then that, the ball python is a great choice for a first snake. Good luck!
