@MrGengisSean For PC, you'd have to reinstall it or not install a patch in the first place. For Xbox, you'd have to clear your cache and decline the update that it wants you to download, but you'll be logged off XBL.

There is still a duplication glitch you can do after you patch it though, and I can't remember any useful glitches that were fixed by the patch.

btw i did this mission when i was lvl 13 i think, well when the boss of the clan or whatever u want 2 call it, the guy with the blue clothing went into the portal i like attacked them all and killed them, i didnt join there clan or have them take my stuff, so yea plus they give u good items if u kill them. I just want 2 say i never new htey take ur stuff, so thank god i killed them cause i had like everything withe me :)

Try dropping all your armors and weapons near the door, before Harrow come out. You can get them back, before you fellow Harrow into the door to the shrine. Let Harrow take your gold and any rings that you have with you. Use save, after the doorkeeper has done talking and right before Harrow come out. I hope that help you from losing you stuf.

I know a much easier way....aqquire UMBRA (A powerful sword thats easy to get) and for some reason when they take ur possesions inside the shrine u still have it on you. it makes life easier to have that sword trust :)

4 the shivering isles its only hard when it comes to the gate keeper...... and everything that follows... its all based on ur characters level... the gate keep can be one hit if YOU are level one he will be difficult if you are a high level and same with everything else its all based on level

You should try this on hard difficulty its actually not that bad if you have good weapons and armor and you level up alot more quicker to.

As with all Bethesda games, at the beginning the hardest difficulty is practically impossible, but a little later on once you actually get decent equipment it becomes all too easy...

I stored my things in the other wing of the temple. The chest was titled "Guild Storage", so I figured I could store my things in there. I don't know, I haven't checked on it yet :P but all you need to do is buy a house and keep it locked and put your things in your house.

The place to store item is after doing the Avail Ship side-quest. The Chest don't ever reset themselves. Take only the Dawn Robes and Misc Katana, you'll want to discard everything you can for the Quest.

just wondering: the last cave full of these cult monks I went through before this and got the weird book instead of the amulet of kings, I didn't even know that I was supposed to be kind of "undercover" so as soon as I saw a daedric monk I just hit him with my custom "Thermite Bow" with the arrows of cleansing and cleared the rest of the cave with my thermite bow and arrows and my mace of doom and still got the objective done. Can I go berserk through the cave here too? By the way, great guides!

Yup. It makes it more fun that way I think.

At higher levels you get different monsters. Level 1's would usually get rats in caves, while level 10's get Trolls, and even higher levels get Ogres.

But the higher level you are, the better armor you run into, so it balances.

Mario I would suggest going into the Alyied ruins pretty much south of the Water district and killing umbra for her swords and Ebony. (And you can kill her at any level AND wear her ebony. I did this at 6.)
