finally the full review...ive owned one for 8 years n its a great car. perhaps the escort cosworth is better but they now cost 15-20k and my mint turbo is worth 900 quid in parkers. a hell of a car for the money.

only the pre-'95 1.6l coupes used the Honda d-series engines. the 2.0 nasp and the 2.0 turbo used the rover T-series

the post 95 coupes used the 1.6 and 1.8l k-series.

got a 1.6 '97 k-series myself. im only 18 :)

Isnt the 2.0l engine the M series as used in the Rover 800?

Yeah, I used to own one of these cars. If the body hadn't rusted away, I'd probably still have it... I had the Honda block. It never went wrong! Lovely car. RIP Rover.
