I no u have already posted a download but it would be cool if you could post a download for the minecart station at 4:01 because it is enclosed.... please?
@TheCritted Ye... After playing minecraft more and seeing the awefull transport things im stuck with i've decided not to play it anymore so cheers for the advice anyway
That said, there's probably an upper limit before the carts completely bug out, but I've stacked 5+ carts without problem. You can also extend the common section of track, and that will add length as well.
In my multiplayer server, we had build a normal stacked booster, but after a while the booster just stopped working, so we couldnt call a cart 50% of the time, making our whole track useless, would this fix the problem? cuz we deleted that world
@Narrcotics101 Check out the minecraft forums...there are multiple guides on installing texture packs on any operating system. Much more detailed than I could do in a Youtube comment.
I checked the momentum of the boosted cart via NBTEdit. With a standard repeating booster 4 tracks long (longer than the one in your video), the cart leaves the booster with a momentum of 0.2. With your double-stacked booster of the same length, the cart has a momentum of 57,000. That's an increase of about a quarter of a million times.
Wow. A Minecraft tutorial done by a guy that doesn't scream HI REDDIT! at the beginning, doesn't have an annoying voice, and gets to the point while still being thorough. I'm impressed.
Oh wow. Alot of Demo videos have alot of mindless talking. Thank you for being to the point. Also what an amazing set up you have. I love the fact everything is automated.
@JohnnyTaped The one I use in the video is called "minutor". It's nice because it's quick and easy (and good for finding minerals), but it doesn't have a lot of options or a way to save pictures. I just took a screen shot for the video.
I've also used MCMap Live (good for "pretty" shots) and c10t (the most powerful, but also the most complicated).
@sakuniaben It's Doku's with a couple of modifications (I changed the redstone and sign textures, then added a progress bar for the cracking texture).
How did you get the tracks to behave like that on the booster system? Mainly the branch where the booster is released. I'm having problems setting it up so it'll fall back onto the track. D: Making it loop around and reposition it after it boosts my cart seems like an impossible feat for me ATM, but you've seem to have done it so I'm at a loss. D:
Any tips/videos of your awesome work would be appreciated, I feel like an idiot. :(

I would really like to see a tutorial about how you get the booster carts and transport carts up the ramps to push each other...
AchronusMC 10 months ago
By doing the same curv you did to keep your boosting cart in, you can use that to retun the cart.

is there any way to make it as efficient, but more compact?

@Narrcotics101 you don't need to unzip the texture pack, just put it into the texture file

Do you have to use a third rail + cart, or can the double-cart be the initial booster itself?
