i just can't forgive them for just saying tootles to Jill and not even so much as a mention. I liked the first two. The 3rd one was weak, but still likeable. However, this is the one in the series that's either going to make it or break it for me... the 3D + clones - Jill = my noodle is going to snap soon!!!!!
Don't worry the new 3D just adds depth to it and you don't have characters/stuff breaking the 4th wall like in older 3D movies. Plus there'll be a 2D version of the film for those of us that don't like 3D
Look at it this way; 90% of the people who go and watch the RE movies play the games. RE is horror/suspense. If it were exactly like the game it looses the effect of the suspense and 90% of your addience starts to fidget and talking about whats going to happen next because they've played the game and know thus running for the other 10%. They way they did the movies making them Alternate timeline to the game makes it a new experience(So to speak) for 100% of the people watching
That's EXACTLY the problem, Resident Evil movies are not horror/suspense films, when RE 1 was released I t thought it would be an horror movie.
Because wtf is that thing of Alice hitting zombies? Alice fighting against Nemesis? The movie complete losses the original escence from the games, and so Resident Evil 4 and 5, of course are great games but not what originally they were.
So of course I played all the games and I really really dislike the way they adapted it into movies. I will watch RE 4 just because I'm fan of the games but probably I won't like it... And Because of Milla Jovovich =P
You aren't getting something here. All horror movies have some elements of suspense. Having something randomly pop out of no where always makes your audience jump out of his/her seat. Alice didn't start fighting the zombies hand to hand but when you run out of ammo or they get to close breaking there necks is the only option. And when she fights Nemesis she is superhuman-like. They explain that in the movies. Honestly you don't like them then don't watch them
Eh Resident Evil just doesn't seem like his kind of movie. Beside the original script was written by George Romero that was closer to the game and included most of the original games Characters but was scrapped by Capcom for some reason or another and they chose Anderson to write a new. Capcom wanted the movies to be different.

where or who did you here this from, because they are giving some info out on the movie, but they have not yet told who will be in it now yes alias and even chris is going to be in it and more then likely jill to, but there is no information out yet if leon will be in it, and I have no idea how the media or whoever found out, but they were talking about jesen playing leon, but they were pretty tight up with the information on him playing as leon so someone must have found out?

i just can't forgive them for just saying tootles to Jill and not even so much as a mention. I liked the first two. The 3rd one was weak, but still likeable. However, this is the one in the series that's either going to make it or break it for me... the 3D + clones - Jill = my noodle is going to snap soon!!!!!

Don't worry the new 3D just adds depth to it and you don't have characters/stuff breaking the 4th wall like in older 3D movies. Plus there'll be a 2D version of the film for those of us that don't like 3D

Look at it this way; 90% of the people who go and watch the RE movies play the games. RE is horror/suspense. If it were exactly like the game it looses the effect of the suspense and 90% of your addience starts to fidget and talking about whats going to happen next because they've played the game and know thus running for the other 10%. They way they did the movies making them Alternate timeline to the game makes it a new experience(So to speak) for 100% of the people watching

That's EXACTLY the problem, Resident Evil movies are not horror/suspense films, when RE 1 was released I t thought it would be an horror movie.
Because wtf is that thing of Alice hitting zombies? Alice fighting against Nemesis? The movie complete losses the original escence from the games, and so Resident Evil 4 and 5, of course are great games but not what originally they were.

You aren't getting something here. All horror movies have some elements of suspense. Having something randomly pop out of no where always makes your audience jump out of his/her seat. Alice didn't start fighting the zombies hand to hand but when you run out of ammo or they get to close breaking there necks is the only option. And when she fights Nemesis she is superhuman-like. They explain that in the movies. Honestly you don't like them then don't watch them

Eh Resident Evil just doesn't seem like his kind of movie. Beside the original script was written by George Romero that was closer to the game and included most of the original games Characters but was scrapped by Capcom for some reason or another and they chose Anderson to write a new. Capcom wanted the movies to be different.

Your right George A. Romeros script was more to the game fans. That is the one I wanted to make. The first resident evil move was good in its owb way but in number 2 with adding 3 game Characters mest it all up.
