  • I LOVE LIVIN WERE I DO

  • How tall are you guys? Been thinking about getting one but not sure because a lot of people say it'd be tight squeeze to fit in. I'm 5'11" at 150lbs. Never been in one, never found any local. I'm just window shopping on eBay

  • @TheMikeEustis

I'm 6'1" 247Ibs and I can fit well in a 1985 one i'm trying to buy it and decided to sit in it first a lot of leg room for a small car.

  • I'm getting my first car soon and i need some advice... 88 Fiero (5 speed) or a 1991 cadillac Allante?

Both are for $6000 (fiero may be less). And tell me some reasons why I should get said car.

  • @Lancealot180 88 Fiero=fun as hell, plenty of mods for it, cheap to fix if something happens

    Cadillac in general=expensive junk

  • I remember when my car used to do that. Start. Run. I tried to make it faster - so I took a lot of stuff out to lighten it. Well, evidently, that screen thingy with the tube wasn't one of the things to take out.

  • at least someone in your family is nomal and buys GM vehicals

  • THE SHET!!!! I NEED TO GET MY FIERO TODAIIIIIII!!!!!

    一般的な私は本当にくだらない車ネッド!たわごと!!

    no im not asian!

  • That car sounds great. It was so badass when he dropped the clutch and pulled away really fast at the beginning lol

  • Fiero's r # 1 Car that I really love...

  • i want a '86 pontiac fiero for my first car its the ferrari of the 80's

  • sick car! I want to find one cheep and restore it someday. All i'v ever owned is pontiac!!

  • @barffboy217 thats what i'm doing to mine. i have an '86 fiero se that i'm dropping a 3800 buick lesabre engine in

  • sounds alot like my borthers 85 bird with 2.8 and 5spd.

  • lmao i live in I live in California i cant drive my fiero on the 91 freeway cause its to slow. 80 mph but if u push it 80 for a long time or even 50 the seats get warm because of the engine.

  • @nasurdan somethings wrong with ur fiero i can push mine close to 120

  • monstrous! sounds good

  • Fix up that poor car and put in a supercharged 3.8 motor and you'll have a rocketship :)

  • @RiverLightDesign Right in the middle of that one myself black 87GT with a 1998 regal GS 3800SC :)

  • drop in a 4.9 dude it realy makes it fly

  • me and my dad are fixing up a '85 fiero with a v6

  • lol I bought my camaro for 1000 and i wanted one of these lol if i knew i woulda bought it=P

  • that looks like a really fun car to drive i would definitely buy one if i ever get a chance to go with my 89 RS camaro

  • You should wait 'till I get the 4.9 in mine, it will FLY!!!

  • 305's are garbage. you'll only get 40-60 more horse. drop a 5.7L 350. youll get around 400 horse instead of 200.

  • the 4.9 isn't a 305, dude, it's a Cadillac. Sure it doesn't have much power, but it has a lot more torque and it doesn't throw the weight distribution off. And that project is officially called off anyway, I ran out of money.

  • oh and yea i forgot to say, you (in case the one that has answered is the one that does the camera job in this clip is the same person) are a very funny and entertaining guy, you had me laughing pretty good while i was watching.

  • how's the car? i mean this would make a perfect restauration project, have you guys any plans about doing so or are you just having fun with it from time to time ? greets from germany.

  • well sadly it was not my car... it was my brothers and he sold it... I was rather upset about that

  • oh i can understand the upset thing :) can i ask what the car was sold for? just to get a general idea because i've been looking for one of these fieros to buy but it is tough to get one here in germany, the ones that are for sale are beyond rotten and the ones that are in decent condition are beyond my price range :D greets from germany.

  • well yes I was the one with the camera and thank you... the car was sold for 1000 usd but that is not very indicative of a normal price on these from what Ive seen... around here a good example well optioned can go from anywhere from 2500 to 12000

  • for a thousand bucks from what i've seen from here i would've bought it within the blink of an eye, considering how the euro stands against the dollar currently this would have made it the hell of a bargain also, anyways, thank you for your reply, best wishes.

  • @DonPhilip84 Hallo wie geht's?

  • that one guy did his hair himself

  • some hicks

  • so are you just trying to make someone mad or do you just have nothing better to do than make silly irrelevant comments

  • Seriously he said fieros are crap???? so sad that we do indeed live in a world with people who are that naive

  • fiat = Fix It Again Tony how can u say fieros r crap

  • buick= Big Ugly Indestructible Compact-KIller

also btw lol "Oh yeah when you live in town you gotta pull the keys outta the car" :)

  • i know right... I love living 25 miles out of town

  • yeah dude get your swedish ass off here saying a fiero is a fiat god damn i auta visit your country and kick your ass a fiero will blow away your foreign shit anyday

  • FIERO is copy FIAT X 1/9 :o)

  • I LOVE MY FIERO! its an 1986 2.8 se and im running in the lower 10s 145 in 4th

  • I love fieros im gonna try to get one at some point

  • I could definatly agree with you on where you live would be frickin awsome I would love to live in the middle of nowhere on a ranch or farm with all kinds of toys like you have

  • your brother is exactly like you hehe

  • definatly one of the cars on my wish list!!!

  • great vid! i own an 85 gt with 65k on it,and i also get the smoke comin outta the tail pipes even in the summer! i love my fiero and chew up honda"s daily.with no mods done to my car!

  • that's how you treat a cold motor. waking up from a good sleep. very good for your stuff, no wonder it smoke's like a ricy honda SHITvic.

  • well thank goodness its not my car... and I wasnt the one starting it... pehaps you should see some of my other videos before you pass judgement... btw this car has smoked since the day he bought it as has every other V6 fiero he or I have ever owned and as far as the honda comparison this car will feed those silly riced out civics their ass on a platter so you fail... do your research and know what your talking about before you make some stupid assumption

  • hey my nighbors has one of those cars never could figure out what kind of car it was

  • he should drop an L67 in there, it'll haul ass. I always liked the Fieros especially the GTs

  • yeah they are pretty sweet little cars

  • ya, the v6 fieros were def. the ones to have! its easy to bury those 80mph GM speedos

  • yeah lord knows Ive been there... and what the hell was the deal with those 85 mph speedos anyways

  • the 4 cyl couldnt really do more than that and the v6 really wasnt that much better with a 0.4 sec. 1/4 mile time difference

  • well I would have to argue having driven v6s and 4 cyl with manuals and autos there is a huge difference and I was being sarcastic the reason there was 85 mph speedos was because it was govt mandated until 95....

  • im not sure what you're talking about.. the 2.8/getrag combo has dipped into high 15 second runs (though mid-low 16's are average), where the 4cyl's dont get out of the 17 or maybe very high 16's with the performance 4spd trans.

  • those times were rated from the factory. 4 cyl. 16.4 and v6 16 flat

  • did it say what trans those were hooked up to? cuz its just not possible for a 94hp to beat 150hp, in a car that weighs the same.

  • 85 mph speedo's. And the GT and Formula models came with 120 speedo's for a reason.

  • oh believe me those v6 se's were more than capable of burying a 120 speedo if they had had them

  • :) I'm just razzin ya. I got an 86 GT LOVE IIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! treat her good man and she will do the same. Beat her and she'll beat you back....trust me.

  • its all good those cars are so freakin sweet everytime I drive my brothers it makes me giggle lol

  • yeah it's not hard to catch yourself giggling. Especially when a honda is involved:) I massacre most all civics and accords with my gt and never even touch redline. I got some goodies in it too tho. Buddy of mine has a 86 SE (red) with a BB 355 stuffed in it. .....it wheelies, talk about giggle. Heh :)

  • Good to see another fiero getting back on the road :D If you want a REALLY fun ride, while keeping the stock 2.8L, get the 4spd with the 4.10 gears that came on the 84 4cyl, and swap the gears into the v6 casing ( think it is).. The 4.10 gears are damn near indestructable, and the v6 case is really strong. Put them together and you have a bulletproof tranny.. only downside is, if you try to drive at highway speeds, your rpm's are guna be HIGH. but you will roast the tires with ease ;)

  • ha ha sounds like a raging blast although I gotta say that my brothers with only the holley throttle body and power chip will roast the tires pretty easy too... I dont much care for going fast in them anyways the front end starts to get light at about 110 kinda makes it a touch scary

  • Ya, the fiero's are well known for that problem.. That can be fixed by adding a hood vent (not scoop), as the light feeling is caused by a pocket of air that forms under the front hood. Once you release that air pocket, it hugs the ground really well.

  • keep up the good work, ive been watching since the begining

  • thanks for watching... Ill try to keep em coming

  • nice cars

  • Cool!; yea they were pretty cool cars for their time!!!; one of our neighbors were we use to live had one for awhile and it was a pretty cool little car for what it is. Just too bad GM stopped making them. Cool video. :)

  • yeah seems like everytime they get something good going they drop it can you imagine a fiero today with the LS7 in the back mwa ha ha ha we like it

  • archie (of v8 archies) just did an lS6/6spd swap :D Id settle for a boosted LS2/6spd :)

  • oh wow that does sound like fun... Ive always been curious about the supercharged 3800 or the northstar swap Ive heard they are pretty simple and straightforward

  • Yes and no.. The 3800 swaps are very well documented, and you can buy all the parts (mounts, wiring harnesses etc..) from numerous people.. They have tons of power to boot. Im probably going to be going with the 3800 N/A version, and turbo it. The problem with the supercharged 3.8's is their firing order gives them an ugly sounding exhaust note. The turbo helps to correct that problem, but not completely.

  • (continued) The Northstar is actually one of the hardest swaps to do.. even more-so than any of the LS series motors. Their are only 3 people that i know of, that have completed that swap. Oh and careful what motor you choose, if you wanna stay with the manual. Both of the 4speed tranny's gears are too short, so 1st and 2nd gear are pretty much useless for anything other than a stock 2.8. (continued below... again)

  • im planning a 94 northstar swap. The stock Fiero 3 sp's trans will bolt to the northstar. just imagin the northstar with a 3.18 gear ratio. Im runnin an 88 cultass 3.8 v6 on a 3.33 4 sp. ovrdrive and it'll hold it own with a new supercharged v6mustang till just after hitting 2nd gear.

  • nice that sounds like a fun combo

  • search "adalhall" on youtube and watch my vids. It's fun to say the least stock but give it a 3.8 instead of the dog 2.8 with the lower gearing and its a street legal go-kart on steriods. Im currently using the factory v6 torque converter from the fiero. IT REALLY IS A NICE COMBO, MORE HP, TORQUE, OVERDRIVE, AND BETTER MILEAGE.......CAN YOU BEAT THAT...(CONSIDERING WE BUILT IT IN 2 MONTHS FOR $400

  • Id think twice about using the 3spd auto.. its the weakest tranny available for the fiero.. It you wanna keep the auto, look for the HD trans that came with the L67 (3.8sc).. i believe it is 3.36 FD but i could be wrong. Otherwise there is the 4.10 4spd, but the gearing is too short for the caddy engine, you'll roast the tires in the first 3 gears pretty much lol.. the getrag seems to be the favorite with the V8 guys, the gearing is pretty good, though first is still a little short in1st

  • ya its kinda weak and id rather use the L67 but i dont have an L67 and im doing it on the cheap. My dad has a v8 in his ( search "fierofred" on youtube). I'd love to have ovrdrive but id have to used a computer-contrlld-trans and i dont realy like the top-speed limiter on those, imagine the northstar in a fiero with no speed limiter on the trans, since the northstar revs to like 7 grand. The top speed of the car isnt when it runs out of power but when you run out of balls to drive it that fast!!

  • no im saying just use the transmission that came with the L67. It should bolt to the northstar.. i think.. If you're doing this on the cheap, ive heard the northstar is one of the hardest/most expensive swaps to get running.. easiest is the caddy 4.9. You gotta think about the long term cost here too. You might only spend $100 on the 3spd auto compared to $400 for the HD tranny, but you'll destroy that 3spd in short order with the torque of the northstar.

  • I know someone who had the exact same on with the Northstar. It was fast as hell but too bad it got burnt to a metal ball in a garage fire!

  • oh dude thats a very sad story :(

  • (continued again) Your only real options are the getrag 5spd, they have been mated to v8's, but they were ment for 140hp cars, not 300hp+.. Next up would be the g6 6spd, they are quite a bit stronger, and i havn't heard 1 story of them breaking in a fiero application. Up from that would be the porsche 5spd ord the nsx 5spd. Both of those are $5000ish, whereas the g6 6spd (aka F40 transaxle) go for $500 or less, so you can afford to go through more, and they are still quite strong. (done)

  • I may be a bit off on the tranny price, i ment $3000ish...

  • wow you really know your stuff on these things Im very impressed and i will pass this information on to my brother

  • actually the only real options are the stock northstar trans or the fiero 3 sp. Those are the only trans that will bolt to the northstar bellhousing that i know of ( or have) without a trans bellhousing adapter

  • im pretty sure all stock fiero trans will fit. Im 95% sure that all the stock trans had the same bellhousing pattern.

  • there is an old man that lives about 5 miles away from me, and it is pretty cool, and he drives it everyday

  • Man both you and your brother are really cute :)

  • ha ha thank you

  • sweeet a fiero 2.8 those things hall ass. light wieght and a v-6= sweet fun

  • we like it

  • nice lol... i've always loved that car

  • i thought you didn't like GM's. the greatest cars in the world

  • not really a dislike so much as a preference towards fords... Im pretty open minded when it comes to cars... theyve all got good ones and bad ones and like as not they will ALL break down at some time or another

  • i love cars like that. we have a 94 camaro with a 4.2 v6 in it and that car is so fun to drive and i drive a camaro like it should be driven nd i am only 14. what was my dad thinking? the only thing i dont like about it is that it is not a stick shift. if it was then i would be able to take it to red line and have more fun

  • ha ha sounds like you got a fun car... I got no problems with driving like a nut but make sure you use your head and keep it safe

  • yea Light Them Up!!!!!

  • ha ha ha yeah did you catch it trying to go sideways... I thought he was gonna smack his truck

  • yea i thought he was gonna hit his truck too

  • great video
