Brilliant! It shows that they could still be the same band they were nearly 30years ago. They nearly show the action of 85'! Great! Thank you for that.
@chez117 Yeah. So many bands get compared to U2 for style, Lyrics, Musical structure etc. But you have to be able to take a leaf out of some books you know? Anyway I think the riff at the beginning of WTSHNN has got to be one a the best ever written. So simple, so effective. Less is more in U2's case. Love it!
@chez117 Ah, k. I read it as though you were saying that Kings of Leon and U2 were fair competition, which they are definitely not. They will never even enter the same ballpark.
I LOVE this band....but wish Bono would just sing the lyrics instead of trying to ad lib, especially when most of the time its utter garabge and nothing to do with the song that he comes out with.
I was there, and they were actually electrifying...the whole hill at Pyramid went mental. It was pissing it down with rain, but somehow, it just added to the atmosphere. Awesome :)
i was there in the rain, ten yards from bono. and every time i watch again, the goosebumps return :)

Edge's One solo and the Streets intro are maybe the two best pieces of U2 music...
