@cuteleon2 by the time ps4 is out, PC will still be a step ahead. When the ps3 first came out, it took a $800 pc to match up to it, nowadays a $300 pc can surpass the ps3 in performance. So when the PS4 does come out, I would be half expecting it to run crysis on cryengine 2.

xbox 360 version is better than the ps3, pc version is better than the xbox 360's. But the difference between the PC and xbox 360 versions are minor. obviously PC will look sharper due to anti aliasing and consoles will be compressed compared (honestly why you even zoomed up to it to compare detail is just dumb).

@vandeergraft if you ask me, PS3 is more capable of producing better graphics than 360! 360's graphics card is better than PS3's. But PS3's CPU can also handle graphics calculation. So along with the CPU and GPU, PS3 can produce better graphics than 360. Blame the developers for not using the whole power of the PS3. They aren't using it because its expensive!

@dontnou3 I had a laptop. I forgot which one was it. I gave it to my mom but yea I got a new PC now with i7 2600k GTX 580 8GB Ram. So I can max this out with over 100 FPS.
@dontnou3 No seriously, my current pc rig cost as much if not a little cheaper to put together than a second hand ps3 and I can run this at full whack as smooth as butter. If you can build it, which trust me isn't as hard as you'd think and buy a couple of controller pads, the only reason to even think of owning a console would be for exclusive titles if that floats your boat. The console war is futile, the pc is where it's at.

I am a 360 owner, a much needed upgrade to my original Xbox and PS2. And looking at the comparison video, I didn't notice much difference. Maybe a recording or comparison video doesn't do justice, but I've noticed that most games look almost identical on the PC and consoles.
@Joelbot1 I'm not saying that there are no differences. Obviously the PC can and will produce better colors, lighting, and anti aliasing effects than a console. However, the overall difference isn't something to make a big deal out of. The console version of the game still look amazing, especially for a console.

@obooxd Hmm, i'd say a pc is superior to both the xbox and ps3 for gaming, and not as much money as you'd expect. My setup: Phenom II x3 at 2.6ghz £40, 2gb Ram £20, Radeon 6750 graphics £65, Biostar mobo £30, 550w Power Supply £10 plus other minor parts. All together give or take around the same price as a second hand ps3 and fully capable of running most modern games at high to top end settings, not to mention modding ability and better graphics. Add a control pad, now that's the real deal.
@byExzite It most certainly isn't. You would pay $300 for a console and around $500 for an average LCD HDTV. You can get a much higher performance with a $600 computer (including all peripherals) and a $130 Full HD LED monitor for a lower price. The problem is that most people already own the TV.
PC is beautiful!! I just played RE5 and beat it on my ps3, now I've started a file on my pc, and I must say, the graphics have me drooling compared to my ps3! Not that I don't love my ps3! XD

Well ps3 is a waste comparing. RES5 is ported from the xbox, so it's going to lose a TAD of quality, and the differances aren't noticeable AND there are certain things both do well on. PC has just blown them out the water. Oh yea...I ain't a pc gamer D:!
A good pc costs around $700 on some online shops like newegg and there are 1 million reasons why consoles shouldn't be bought. For example pc gaming is cheaper thnx to freetoplay games like Vindictus,BatteryArticWinds,Firefalletc and Steam deals selling games for$5. On console you can't decide whatyouwanttoplay and have to stick with buytoplay, paytoplay stuff and exclusives which suck money from your pocket. The only limit pc gaming has is the ignoranceandlaziness of people over small things.

I would say pc just for the controls. I have it on pc and tried playing it with a 360 controller plugged in and felt like i was controlling a slug... I tried it with the mouse and keyboard combo and now the game is ridiculously easy for aiming.

In terms of FPS, RTS, MMOs. Mouse and Keyboard is unanimously the best option for control. No other control system can match its accuracy and sensitivity in those games.
And if you want there are other various controllers available for the PC. There are more types of controllers available for the PC than the consoles than you can ever imagine.
PC is better but there really doesn't seem to be much of a difference. I'm sad PC doesn't have Gold Edition but it's good to know getting the PS3 version won't be horrifyingly bad graphics.
@VanishedDecoy It sure used to have a lot of AAA games. It still does, there are a lot of multiplatform games that are released for PC as well. All the CoD games are released for PC, Mass Effect 1+2, I can keep typing, but you get the point?
PC will always be better because you can upgrade them. And you can buy most of the games from all the consoles vs just the games aproved for those systems.
more games + upgradeable system = better acquisition. But of course if you have the money just buy all the consoles and a pc and you get all the games.

@gokuda1000 A RSX é baseada no mesmo chip (G70) usado nas GeForce 7800 (em 2005), enquanto a Xenos é baseada na arquitetura R500 que a ATI usou na série Radeon X1K (também em 2005). Hoje são GPUs ultrapassadas e até uma HD5670 ou GT240 (que você acha por 300, 350 reais) têm desempenho melhor.
Os processadores também não estão nem perto de serem os melhores do mundo. O Cell do Playstation 3, por exemplo, é um chip de um núcleo que custa meros 38 dólares ($37.73, pra ser mais exato).
@NewLynxChannel Falou verdade mas voce tem que ver que só teve melhoras nos processadores devido estudos como base o CELL é uma pena um nucleo não adianta muito, mas as GPUs por serem ultrapassadas a Xenos essa ainda apresenta muita qualidade grafica que só perde pra PC devido suportes de hardwares o XBOX360 aguenta muita coisa sim agora a RSX pra competir com PC não aguenta não possui shaders unificados por isso o X360 tem processamento mais rapido que PS3.
@gokuda1000 A diferença entre Xenos e RSX fica muito pequena pra diferenciar as duas quando você compara com as GPUs disponíveis pra PCs hoje. Xenos é de fato melhor que RSX, mas não o suficiente pra dizer que uma consegue competir com PCs e outra não.
Além disso, é improvável que a Intel e AMD tenham comprado processadores da concorrente IBM pra fazer pesquisas, sendo que elas já tem as linhas Xeon e Opteron, respectivamente, que se adequem bem ao objetivo (se foi isso que quis dizer).

@dontnou3 No seriously, my current pc rig cost as much if not a little cheaper to put together than a second hand ps3 and I can run this at full whack as smooth as butter. If you can build it, which trust me isn't as hard as you'd think and buy a couple of controller pads, the only reason to even think of owning a console would be for exclusive titles if that floats your boat. The console war is futile, the pc is where it's at.

@Joelbot1 I've said this before, and I'll say it again. The PC is not the end all of gaming. Never was, and never will be. Technically, the consoles are where its at. Most people do not, and will not, use the PC as their primary gaming system. And most people don't want to build a PC. Just because its your hobby, doesn't mean its everyone elses'
That being said, the console versions of games all look just fine. In fact, looking at that comparison video, I saw little to no real difference.

I am a 360 owner, a much needed upgrade to my original Xbox and PS2. And looking at the comparison video, I didn't notice much difference. Maybe a recording or comparison video doesn't do justice, but I've noticed that most games look almost identical on the PC and consoles.

However, the overall difference isn't something to make a big deal out of. The console version of the game still look amazing, especially for a console.

@obooxd Hmm, i'd say a pc is superior to both the xbox and ps3 for gaming, and not as much money as you'd expect. My setup: Phenom II x3 at 2.6ghz £40, 2gb Ram £20, Radeon 6750 graphics £65, Biostar mobo £30, 550w Power Supply £10 plus other minor parts. All together give or take around the same price as a second hand ps3 and fully capable of running most modern games at high to top end settings, not to mention modding ability and better graphics. Add a control pad, now that's the real deal.

In terms of FPS, RTS, MMOs. Mouse and Keyboard is unanimously the best option for control. No other control system can match its accuracy and sensitivity in those games.
And if you want there are other various controllers available for the PC. There are more types of controllers available for the PC than the consoles than you can ever imagine.

@EuSoNinjaa sei muito bem o que disse sim sei como funciona o processador e a unidade de processamento grafico só que voce tem que entender uma coisa PCS em geral aceitam suportes de hardwares, e XBOX360 e PS3 não, mas deixam muitos pcs para trás um computador para executar CRYSIS 2 tem que tá muito tunado ou não roda já nos consoles pra eles se torna normal a média de FPS em consoles é de 30, a diferença entre PC e console era pra ser muita mas não é aceite o fatos.

@gokuda1000 A RSX é baseada no mesmo chip (G70) usado nas GeForce 7800 (em 2005), enquanto a Xenos é baseada na arquitetura R500 que a ATI usou na série Radeon X1K (também em 2005). Hoje são GPUs ultrapassadas e até uma HD5670 ou GT240 (que você acha por 300, 350 reais) têm desempenho melhor.
Os processadores também não estão nem perto de serem os melhores do mundo. O Cell do Playstation 3, por exemplo, é um chip de um núcleo que custa meros 38 dólares ($37.73, pra ser mais exato).

@NewLynxChannel Falou verdade mas voce tem que ver que só teve melhoras nos processadores devido estudos como base o CELL é uma pena um nucleo não adianta muito, mas as GPUs por serem ultrapassadas a Xenos essa ainda apresenta muita qualidade grafica que só perde pra PC devido suportes de hardwares o XBOX360 aguenta muita coisa sim agora a RSX pra competir com PC não aguenta não possui shaders unificados por isso o X360 tem processamento mais rapido que PS3.

@gokuda1000 A diferença entre Xenos e RSX fica muito pequena pra diferenciar as duas quando você compara com as GPUs disponíveis pra PCs hoje. Xenos é de fato melhor que RSX, mas não o suficiente pra dizer que uma consegue competir com PCs e outra não.
Além disso, é improvável que a Intel e AMD tenham comprado processadores da concorrente IBM pra fazer pesquisas, sendo que elas já tem as linhas Xeon e Opteron, respectivamente, que se adequem bem ao objetivo (se foi isso que quis dizer).

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL cara deixa de ser embecil, o teu pc da positivo num roda nada mesmo mas o MEU QUE EU MONTEI RODA , so minha placa de video sozinha processa mais dados que um ps3 interio,o xbox360 tmb perde feio.
vc não sabe de nada caralho tomara que seja um troll e o pior ainda é que tu comenta em portugues em um video em ingles.
