My coworker gave me one of these to sell on ebay or craiglist but I told him you cant get much for them now as it was released so long ago. Im watching this as im playing with the sprint version now.....I gotta admit its kinda cool very unique form factor compared to phones today. It seems really laggy though, I think his is damaged...but its fun to mess with for awhile. Im gonna give it back to him tell him to flash it to metro haha.

i had 10 or so windows mobile devices (my first was (cassiopeia em-500).. one day there was time for a change, I have iphone and ipod touch now... when I see windows mobile today on such new devices, it seems to be so old school ;) It is like I were using windows 95 today. Microsoft should change the mobile OS, not just change the version number, its boring to use windows mobile.

Don't get an Instinct. You can't synch calendar and the web browser is not as good. Opera Mobile 9.5 is alot better than the Instinct browser. Also the touch flo is nice. Downfall with Diamond is no flash but does has 3.2mp, Only 4GB internal storage and poor battery life. But from what I hear the Instinct web browser is not as compatible with websites. I had a Sprint rep go to a specific site and click on a vieo that support windows media and it work great while did nit work with Instinct

I have a Curve but going to Diamond or Pro by HTC. I hear the OS 4.6 with Bold is better than previous OS's, but still not compatible with websites as much as diamond or Pro. Blackberry still cannot play Windows media Player links and that is pathetic since alot of sites support it.

The iphone is cool but it is boring.. the HTC Tuch diamond is much bether and fun to have it. Ppls say it sucks but it don't ppls just don't know how to use it lol.. that why they say it sucks. it replaces the 900mah battery with a 1800mah battery along with the backplate which will make the phone as thick as the touch pro. so now you can do the things you wanna do with the upgrade.

just one word of warning after being an owner of one of these for a couple of weeks: the camera IS better than the Kaiser/TyTn 2 BUT video recording sucks: unusable really as it goes out of sync.

GPS is also shite compared with my N95. Very unreliable (as it was on the TyTn 2)

Interface is great, but I still wouldn't think twice about swapping for an Iphone 3G as they still have a nicer UI and are more enjoyable to use on the whole. This is great though if you can't go on O2 like myself.

I honestly hate a laggy UI! when he touches a button there is about 0.5 second delay before the phone does anything, and when the screen changes there is also a slight lag when it loads up. I mean with such powerful processor technology why cant they come up with a phone that does not have this lag. Its so irritating, and not intuitive. The iphone is not only cheaper now, its UI is silky smooth (truly finger sensitive, NOT 'nail' sensive) and not to mention apple's amazing media interface!

The accelerometer is kinda inconsistent. There are times that it lags. Iphone's accelerometer wins. I think iphone's touch UI is better, period. But this phone beats the iphone on all other aspects. Even on animation. I guess the reason why the iphone has a faster UI is because its software is not as complex as smartphones are.  Iphone has a very good screen, but this one is even better. So my vote goes to this phone. I ordered mine today. Will get it by Friday.
