  • This song is speaking to me right now... My best friend, who seems to be perfect for me, keeps going back to this asshole who abuses her, rapes her, and treats her like shit. I like to consider myself a pretty nice guy, and it torments me that she keeps going back to him. I guess some things in life aren't meant to be understood.

  • Spin Doctors... If Theres Anything Better Than you... You Know They Haven't Found It Yet... ♥

  • Am I Wrong But Isn't When You Know You Could Have Me instead of When you Know You Can Have Me?....

  • ....But i Know Just How Dangerous Wishes Are.... I WOuldn't Care Wishing I Can Listen To Your Music 4 Ever n Ever

  • Who is the girl in the video? Did she become famous?

  • well, got no money no job live home with my parents, act crazy from time to time, don t shower as a protest, cut my own hair when i feel like, i stink, and i might soon become homeless for choice, but still HOW COULD YOU.....

  • @antero15051984 we are in the same boat lol

  • another example of great music written by the four guys. spin doctors rock!!

    see ya soon mark..

  • Damn song, the refrain is basically a chronicle of my love life. haha

  • They were such a good band but sadly under appreciated by the younger generation who were so into Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden at the time! If Spin Doctors had hit their fame at the same time Blues Traveler and Counting Crows did, maybe their downward spiral wouldn't have been so bad. "Pocket Full Of Kryptonite" is still a classic of the '90s.

  • @MattHatter - I think their timing wasn't bad - I mean, it could have been worse. They had a very Edie & New Bohemians sound but with much better elec guitaring (Edie struck one hit Gold four years prior). Remember this was only a few months before Blind Melon and Gin Blossoms owned MTV with their megahits. If they hit in '94, they may have been lost in (as you say) the BT, Crows shuffle --- also VH1 crossroads shuffle with Jayhawks, Hootie, Wilco, etc. It wasn't all grunge.

  • @Sanger500 i REALLY REALLY AGREE WITH YOU!

  • we saw the them in London Jazz Cafe .. what a decent bunch of blokes and such timeless great music. they took time out for their fans and even announced our anniversary for us. In fact we traveled from Florida to London to see them and will again when they are in Florida again. Go Spin Doctors! Teresa and Ralph

  • ¿Cómo podrías quererlo, cuando sabes que podrías tenerme?

  • The lyrics are the story of my life. Great tune!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The one person who doesn't like this song is probably THAT guy.

  • It's funny he references Hamlet, considering he looks like Shakespere. Or is it Ginger Baker?

  • @hancock06 No, it's a reference to Hamlet. Read much?

  • @babymoondancer a book about ham interesting i must read it

  • OLDSCHOOL SONG! LOVE IT! MISS SONGS LIKE THIS! I LOVE THE 90'S! HOW COULD YOU WANT HIM WHEN YOU KNEW YOU COULD OF HAD ME

    ISN'T THAT THE TRUTH?

  • They were great in concert! Saw them about a dozen times!

  • Wow, never knew these guys had other music other than " Little Miss" ... Never really like them back then... Over played that song too much :(

  • This song is almost 20 years old and still fantastic! It was my favorite on the whole album. I introduced my 20 year old daughter to it and she loves it too! Just goes to show that great music is timeless.

  • Wow, love the backdrop. THat is my old Land. It's fab.

  • I miss the 90's

  • @jhill2704: I don't, but the music was better than now, although 90's rock or pop was the worst before 2000's.

  • @Hancock06 - Ref: Shakespere's Hamlet - And, no, its not anti-semantic - they were Danish families of nobility in Shakespere's time... See Wikipedia on Rozencranz and Guildenstern

  • I love his beard:P

  • Wish someone would do a cover of this on post it, cant find one anywhere

  • Makes me think of my ex gf and how much I still love her!!!!

  • love these guysss

  • You know how he says, You can't drink wine with a two dollar bill? Well, you can at Trader Joes, Two Buck Chuck! (Charles Shaw Wineries). ha

  • Gotta love the dude with leathergloves playing bass at 0:46..

  • Love the Shakespeare reference. Showing their musicianship and artistic dimension, the tune's a beauty.

  • @stephenspry Saw Chris play in my hometown yesterday. Superb.

  • @peterzang Good to hear! Chris is a charmer. Wish he'd move down to Virginia, my band's looking for a singer lol.

  • thee forgotten hobos

  • Wish someone had written and sang a song like this for me........ sigh!

  • Song is great, the video is not.

  • Dig the Spin Doctors and this song. Another tune where I just love the lyrics. It's sweet and reminds me of all crushing I did on the girls that had boyfriends back in my "formative" years haha. I got Pocket Full of Kryptonite, great album. They're still together too. Half tempted to venture out and see them if they're ever in my area.

  • @Squeege85
