Colts are beatable. And Crabtree was even more impressive that his aggressive catching. He was running defenders into each other. So Gore, Davis, Crabtree, and a QB who might NOT be the same old Alex. You HAVE to anticipate some good 49ers scores. Now with the helmet on Goldson in the secondary, and off Willis, the secondary will get the full sideline wisdom on each play. And they need that. There's no one behind them. 49ers can win - all except for Smith's previous failure - INTs. We'll see.

The good news is the two first round picks next year, and Carolina's pick at this rate will look like it'll be a higher one than the Niners' haha. So at least one of those needs at o-line or pass rush are likely to be addressed.

What's weird though is that this season there are SO MANY teams that are doing bad, and I thought Carolina was really bad, but there are LOTS of teams that are WORSE, dang!

Come on now you cant just say the season is over. If you payed any attention to this team, you will know that as long as the offense can get first downs and score, we hang with anybody. You didnt actually think S.Hill would give the best chance to win in the long run? Sure he made a few plays here and there, but his limitations made our offense a joke without the deep threat. Our season actually got brigther with the Colts the only team i could honestly say we dont have a chance to win.

You have to start Smith next week and let him fling it around in the spread formation. It's obvious Alex is comfortable in the spread system and it'll mask the o-line problems.

I just hope they don't start Alex and stick with Raye's bush league, run run pass offense. We need to stick with whats working and let Smith play to his strengths.

Yes Hill is horrible. The guy has a noodle for an arm. He's ok if you want to throw 5 yard checkdowns, and 15 yard ducks. when it comes to throws that require zip, he's useless.

Not to mention he has zero athletic ability to speak of. The guy is a statue in the face of a pass rush. Hill is a serviceable backup and nothing more.
