When you start in the position they did, which was on Nick, and at a very young age where their voices were no where near developed, you have to basically rebuild yourself. They are now singing to an entirely new demographic. The lyrics and music have gotten edgier, as have they. They are becoming famous to those who are just in love with their music. Their style of music, they will probably never be THAT widely known, but that's ok :)
