Corrections to the comments made here..First, this song is from Chaka's solo debut album released in November of 1978, called CHAKA .She was still contractually recording with Rufus and officially split for good in 1981 after she and Rufus released the album "Camouflage." Secondly Chaka is doing the lead and background vocals on this song. She was one of the first geniuses (Marvin Gaye too) who did ALL the vocals back in the day. Lastly Whitney sang on Chaka's second album "Naughty" at age 17!
