a friend introduce me to Zeitgeist, it was ok but NOT like what I have planed but close to it. he showed me it when I told him my idea that I am working on. Love the video and the track sounds dope, my only problem (if Id even call it that) is the vocals need to be up more in the track... The lyrics are very important and I found myself rewinding a lot to hear what was said.. The track is busy and dope but the vocals need to come up! Perhaps fewer "sounds pr second" would make this track easier to digest. The human consciousness can only comprehend so many bits of information pr. second :) It's just my oppinion, but thinning out a bit in the sound-scape of this song would do it just.
Government would have to massively change from roots, up, to allow for an effective movement of goodwill and real change. Our values in modern government are all based on one fundamental ideal that holds everything up; being, all modern political systems are founded on systems of infinite resources. @TalonWolf 100% agreed. I still have a pretty cheap Jackson electric guitar, my amp is busted but my friends can still provide with their stuff. I live partially in a squatted house in Belgium, i play guitar all day, write all day and study journalism. i don't have worries. and i don't have dick. i only work part-time for Greenpeace. Which i don't care for Btw:) it pays pretty good. Keep saving dude, that guitar will be yours ! Which one is it ??

I have a Jackson DK2, but I'm not overly sure what I want my next guitar to be. It's going to be my 'pro' guitar - the one I spend all my money on and take care of for the rest of my life. So I'm thinking £2000 is going to be the approximate price. Maybe a Les Paul, or a Gibson SG - I've always loved the feeling of those guitars. What about you?

I'm in the process of forming a stoner doom metal band. Just gotta get my drummer to get some free time. I recommend you get a multi-track home studio - they're relatively cheap and downright awesome for making demos/recording ideas/jamming with yourself. Definitely makes it easier in the long run, especially when you're going to do the drums, vocals and guitar.

@Jeff1961 you'd do well to read up on some psychology. Body and Mind are our only forms of existence on this plane of reality. Your body makes up all physical characteristics of yourself, your mind being the psychological traits. One's spirit is a product formed from self awareness and observation within the mind. You even say yourself in Part 3 - "I see the heart chakra energy as part of that spirit part of my mind". Yes, the spirit does not "live" in your brain, it "exists" in your mind.
Part 3 - people talk about spiritual energy, and physical energy. And they talk about the heart chakra. But unlike the energy an acupuncturist taps in to...I see the heart chakra energy as part of that spirit part of my mind...or rather...my "identity". And that spirit...does not "live" in my brain. It's more like energy in a different dimension...occupying the same space as my body. So again..."heart" isn't _just_ the organ, it isn't part of the brain, it isn't part of the mind. It's spiritual.
Part 2 - So with mind/body/spirit there can be the confusion of what is the spirit. Is it not part of my mind? Am I not...just...my mind? All this stuff may be familiar to you. My point is that in the past few years i've adjusted how I speak about these things as the ideas i'm attracted to about "mind" require me to see it as many things. So in one context...I like to refer to it as the "heart" because I think that communicates to others really well what i'm talking about. But it's never simple.
@MichaelWithstand How do you justify your belief that there is no time limit on expanding your consciousness? There is no proof or disproof, even if our individual preconceived notions and perceptions are transcended, that what we call consciousness is existent before and/or after life. However, you certainly will someday die. Also, how is transcendence not a goal? True, transcendence can be unintentionally gained, but if you intentionally pursue transcendence, then it most certainly is a goal.
@theprimeform because I see no justification on 2012 or any other year being the time limit. It wouldn't be fair too and by the rate of people expanding their consciousness I must say the majority of people are not. In fact there may be an increase in regression of people. I'm not aware of the existence of my consciousness prior to my being and the true nature of death doesn't allow the continuity of consciousness at least for some group of people. But I don't know much.

@theprimeform expanding consciousness is not a goal because it's not the expanded consciousness that mankind need but the realization that it brings that would benefit mankind and bring greater good. When expanding consciousness is sought as goal then it could be misused and abused and serve as a tool of suppression, persecution, intimidation, murder and cheating.

@MichaelWithstand I never asked your opinion on civilization and never gave my own regarding the same, the discussion we're having is about the individual self. One of my goals in life AS AN INDIVIDUAL is to expand my consciousness. I try to achieve this goal not "serve as a tool of suppression, persecution, intimidation, murder and cheating", but to enlighten my own self so I may view the world in a broader and hence "truer" sense, so i may live as truthful a life as possible.

Lots of good work here. I would have liked to see the "heart" included. This focuses a lot on the mind and consciousness. But the solution to all our ills is to use our heart to guide our minds. At the moment...we live in a time dominated by the mind...and the heart takes second place. The heart must come first. Compassion. Love. Watching each others backs. Taking care of each other. Non-judgemental observance. Body, mind, emotion, energy, and spirit.
@Neuiko Excellent question. There actually is some unusual information out there regarding heart transplant patients taking on behaviours/temperament of the person who donated the heart. But that wasn't what I was referring to. I could have been more clear. I am simultaneously being literal (heart is more than just an organ) and metaphorical. I started noticing about a year or two ago that my spirituality, emotions and thinking patterns have been going through multiple intense phases, and Im more intuitive and open-minded than even before. I dont know if my consiousness is just evolving on its own, if my brain chemistry is wacked out, or if it is, in fact, because of the universe raising its frequency.

@QwertyBstard Thats another theory I had, although I wasnt sure if thats was the major cause, considering im 20. I think by the time your 18-21 your brain is doing the finishing touches on its development, whereas the real emotional/neurological changes usually seem to happen when youre 14-17. Im not an expert on this stuff, but your theory is perfectly valid.

Ever heard the saying "With Capitalism, man exploits man. With Communism, it's the other way round"? Communism only works in small communities, most likely due to the fact everyone 'has a shot' at whoever is in charge, so they tend to be less inclined to screw their people over. Fact of the matter is, it's not the social, economical or political ideologies that are in place in a nation that are oppressive - it's human beings.

There are many benefits to such a system and I will not even begin to mention them here (I could write books on it), but the bottomline is that society will have direct democratic values in all it's levels and common interests will be above private interests. @PesiCool The more I looked into politics, the less I cared. It's one big cycle of bullshit that has existed since we made the first tool and used it to bash in the 'inferior' people's skulls in. There's always gonna be an underdog. There's always going to be a tyrant. You can twist and turn human nature all you want, but that is still a very illogical thing to do, as taking such things out of proportions and isolating them from outer effects will make it seem like a fallacy. Either way it would not be advisable to justify a bad and corrupt system over a good system just because human nature is bad. (Also, society is hugely affected by outer surrounding).
@TalonWolf Communism (real communism) simply removes the chance for private interests to reign above common interests as direct democratic values are enforced in all stages of society and all means of production are owned by the nation. There is no state or government in communism and everyone is equal, the monetary system and the market are abolished, a work quota set by the nation is established and all will have free access to articles of consumption as long as they fulfill their work quotas.

I live partially in a squatted house in Belgium, i play guitar all day, write all day and study journalism. i don't have worries. and i don't have dick. i only work part-time for Greenpeace. I'm in the process of forming a stoner doom metal band. Just gotta get my drummer to get some free time. I recommend you get a multi-track home studio - they're relatively cheap and downright awesome for making demos/recording ideas/jamming with yourself. Definitely makes it easier in the long run, especially when you're going to do the drums, vocals and guitar.
I really want an Orange amp - the tones they can make are beastly!

Your body makes up all physical characteristics of yourself, your mind being the psychological traits. One's spirit is a product formed from self awareness and observation within the mind. You even say yourself in Part 3 - "I see the heart chakra energy as part of that spirit part of my mind". Yes, the spirit does not "live" in your brain, it "exists" in your mind.

But unlike the energy an acupuncturist taps in to...I see the heart chakra energy as part of that spirit part of my mind...or rather...my "identity". And that spirit...does not "live" in my brain. It's more like energy in a different dimension...occupying the same space as my body. So again..."heart" isn't _just_ the organ, it isn't part of the brain, it isn't part of the mind. It's spiritual.

Part 2 - So with mind/body/spirit there can be the confusion of what is the spirit. Is it not part of my mind? Am I not...just...my mind? All this stuff may be familiar to you. My point is that in the past few years i've adjusted how I speak about these things as the ideas i'm attracted to about "mind" require me to see it as many things. So in one context...I like to refer to it as the "heart" because I think that communicates to others really well what i'm talking about. But it's never simple.

There is no proof or disproof, even if our individual preconceived notions and perceptions are transcended, that what we call consciousness is existent before and/or after life. However, you certainly will someday die. Also, how is transcendence not a goal? True, transcendence can be unintentionally gained, but if you intentionally pursue transcendence, then it most certainly is a goal.

It wouldn't be fair too and by the rate of people expanding their consciousness I must say the majority of people are not. In fact there may be an increase in regression of people. I'm not aware of the existence of my consciousness prior to my being and the true nature of death doesn't allow the continuity of consciousness at least for some group of people. But I don't know much.

Lots of good work here. I would have liked to see the "heart" included. This focuses a lot on the mind and consciousness. But the solution to all our ills is to use our heart to guide our minds. At the moment...we live in a time dominated by the mind...and the heart takes second place. The heart must come first. Compassion. Love. Watching each others backs. Taking care of each other. @Neuiko Excellent question. There actually is some unusual information out there regarding heart transplant patients taking on behaviours/temperament of the person who donated the heart. But that wasn't what I was referring to. I could have been more clear. I am simultaneously being literal (heart is more than just an organ) and metaphorical. (heart is a way of thinking...therefore mind)
But to be more clear...there are two ways of thinking about ourselves: "mind/body" and "mind/body/spirit"

I started noticing about a year or two ago that my spirituality, emotions and thinking patterns have been going through multiple intense phases, and Im more intuitive and open-minded than even before. I dont know if my consiousness is just evolving on its own, if my brain chemistry is wacked out, or if it is, in fact, because of the universe raising its frequency.
Has anyone else noticed anthing like this with themselves?

@QwertyBstard Thats another theory I had, although I wasnt sure if thats was the major cause, considering im 20. I think by the time your 18-21 your brain is doing the finishing touches on its development, whereas the real emotional/neurological changes usually seem to happen when youre 14-17. Im not an expert on this stuff, but your theory is perfectly valid.

Ever heard the saying "With Capitalism, man exploits man. With Communism, it's the other way round"? Communism only works in small communities, most likely due to the fact everyone 'has a shot' at whoever is in charge, so they tend to be less inclined to screw their people over. Fact of the matter is, it's not the social, economical or political ideologies that are in place in a nation that are oppressive - it's human beings.

@PesiCool Based on your continual pressumptious nature against everyone who opposes your ideology, I know that persuading you is going to be impossible, therefore this is only to show MY opinion - an opinion of which only a close minded fool will have a problem with.
I don't support any ideologies but my own, for I try to be free with my own opinions, decisions and actions without external influences such as rhetoric or dogma. I refuse to say "I'm a communist/capitalist" because I'm neither.

Do whatever you want so long as it doesn't directly harm others. If push comes to shove, push back harder. If you can make a difference, do it. If you can't, shut up.
That's it. I stopped caring about politics, communism, capitalism a long time ago when I realised I had let injustice, corruption and things that pissed me off control my life. Who wins there? Battling against those woes is a futile war.

There are many benefits to such a system and I will not even begin to mention them here (I could write books on it), but the bottomline is that society will have direct democratic values in all it's levels and common interests will be above private interests. It is very easy to spot how private interests are destroying our beautiful planet and human societies today...

@PesiCool The more I looked into politics, the less I cared. It's one big cycle of bullshit that has existed since we made the first tool and used it to bash in the 'inferior' people's skulls in. There's always gonna be an underdog. There's always going to be a tyrant. There's always going to be unfairness, corruption, repression, inhumane acts, segregation, war, famine, violence etc. no matter what 'doctrine' we're all under.

My clothes consist of band teeshirts and whatever jeans/camo I think look good and costs little. I haven't listened to anything in the charts for 10 years. If the government starts pointing guns at my head and taking my shit, then yes, I'll retaliate. You can twist and turn human nature all you want, but that is still a very illogical thing to do, as taking such things out of proportions and isolating them from outer effects will make it seem like a fallacy. Either way it would not be advisable to justify a bad and corrupt system over a good system just because human nature is bad. (Also, society is hugely affected by outer surrounding).

@TalonWolf Communism (real communism) simply removes the chance for private interests to reign above common interests as direct democratic values are enforced in all stages of society and all means of production are owned by the nation. There is no state or government in communism and everyone is equal, the monetary system and the market are abolished, a work quota set by the nation is established and all will have free access to articles of consumption as long as they fulfill their work quotas.
