I had first heard about this game when I saw it on the back cover of the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time booklet. It was love at first sight and a very successful love at that. I <3 BG&E!!!! XD
I remember the day when I bought this game! my Dad bought Xbox to me and my brother. I saw BGE on stock and asked about it from a young salesman,he told me about it,but BGE's cover didn't intrest me back then when i was about 9 years old, after i said that i don't want this Game, young salesman talked about game and said that he wouldn't let me down . After that we walked from store to the Car with Xbox and BeyondGood&Evil. never regreted buying this game.sucha nostalgic feeling now when I'm 18 :)
@Furestone This is seriously exactly how I feel! Something about this game struck a cord with me emotionally. Knowing that the majority of the gaming community will never get to experience this makes me feel so lucky to have played this game!
Absolutely, The heroes that have explored this fantastic adventurous game are required to spread the word to every human in society. As soon as my completion of the game became a result, I began spreading the word since the week the game was released! I am now pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Video Game Production because of my urge to work on the sequel. It is my largest hope to work with the Team and with Michael Ancel at Ubisoft. Thumbs up if you believe I will make it!
A truly beautiful game ^.^ my dad came home from the garage when I was 6 and he handed it over and I LOVED how interactive it was and the storyline was truly awe-inspiring but most of all? the music was so beautiful and every time I was sad or I was exploring I imagined this song in my head. It made me feel so much greater... such an underrated game with so much magnificence and inspiration. Truly a masterpiece of work..
Heard much about the game, and in Germany it was something like a secret masterpiece, so I got a copy for 10 bucks, and it was simply awesome! Let alone the soundtrack makes me feel like I'm living in Hyllis!
@thechosenone42 so true... only some thousand gamers about this game, even after the long time since it was released. I don't know how i got it... 2005 in a second-hand-store in my town. The seller there said it would be epic... and so it was
i remember when my brother got the game i was around 6 and the game was 7 + and he would annoy me and say i couldn't play. Once i turned 7 eh said i could play and i loved it. But i was still scared by the slaughter house and would run out of the room when u had to take a picture of the hillys people being taken to the moon otherwise i would cry. but now im ok and i still love it.
i love beyond good and evil. i know how to play home sweet home on piano and i'm learning pey'js death right now. i would love to play this song but i cant find the notes.
If it hasn't for my best pal back in the day, I would have never crossed this game. I was scared to play the Alpha levels at the time, but I ended up completeing it and it was so upset at the end, this game can't be put into words, more like ... T____T
People should have propaganda out about this game for the people, so they wouldn't live in the shroud of lies that this games is bad: it is not! Unite now! Join the Alpha Sections! And spread out the words! Join the Good Guys: we got cookiees! >=D
It's not only a hell of a game with a fantastic soundtrack, great game design and an uncomparable atmosphere. It is also somehow a bulwark for democracy and that makes it to one of the best games ever created.
its actually upsetting that so many people dont even know about this truly amazing game. i only know about it because my brother bought it in a shop a few years ago. i love love love this game, and if it wasnt for my brother i wouldnt have discovered it.
@FrankiesChannel Same for me. I can thank my brother for so many games like gothic 1, dungeon keeper 2, halo ... i even know sonic and mario from my brother
yea imagine that-the game comes out, we're all psyched about it we start playing and hear some music we've never heard before but in the background you catch parts of "home sweet home","the Domz attack" or something like that...man that'll be awesome
Whilst that may be true, it still has earned a good fanbase surrounding it which certainly says something about the game.
It's just a shame it came out at the wrong time when other games were being released and so it got covered up behind other good games. It would have to be one of the greatest games of the decade for platforms like Xbox.
I find it good that so few people actually know about this game, imagine if Ubisoft would get that the game is hugely popular they would make the producing team much bigger and I think that would destroy the very spirit of this truly amazing game! I am still so happy that I know it though!
