  • i am a fan.

  • Just watched this again.

  • I'm really impressed with this one. You play it with such authenticity. I think your a great artist, and hope you keep it up because you inspire me.

  • @BIGTIMBERFILMS Thanks. You're very kind.

  • wow great job i enjoyed this very much. you should really try for a cowboy roll in a movie you i think have that nailed down pretty well!!!!! again great job!!!!

  • you look like bill paxton

  • You are a brilliant and artistic man. Thank you so much for these videos. Please do more, please?

  • @nandrasic Thanks. Life has been difficult. I've been so ill treated by people I believe I'm worthless, as most people say. I'm glad you like these small offerings. My day-to-day life is always upside-down and I'm prevented from doing the little creative things I ought to be doing. I didn't jump on the Kubrick bandwagon when the Kubrick video went viral. I'm not comfortable with people's comments. (I deleted my channels.) I consider the few people still interested in me my true fans. Like you.

  • Nice Brian! You gotta love this character! I mean he reminds of those parts in the old westerns where someone like John Wayne would have to explain to someone why someone else was taken from them or how he lost someone and how that affected him.

  • @xxEdwardTeachxx Thanks for such a lovely comment. I'd like to make more of these Cowboy videos. I have a couple of them written, but my life is always upside-down; and I'm always prevented from accomplishing those things which I should actually be accomplishing. (Creative stuff for one.) I'm glad you think the character is a flesh-and-blood person. He's real for me, too. I'm also grateful for the John Wayne reference. I am far from The Duke in "The Searchers", but "Cowboy" is personal for me.

  • @KodachromeCowboy Ya The Duke is a legend, he has that innate ability to just use emotion ya know. Thats kinda how i see this guy. You memorize all of this my friend? If its off the cuff then thats even more impressive. Pure emotion!

  • @xxEdwardTeachxx I write them and then memorize them. You're the second person to ask me if I'm making them up as I go along, but they're carefully written. Thanks for your kind words.

  • Wonderful! :-)

  • jesus

  • I don't quite share your (or Cowboy's) distain for religion, but I thought the line "Christ suffered three hours on the cross, didn't he? I have suffered a lifetime. I am a horse worked to a lather!" was fantastic. Sounded like something out of a Cormac McCarthy novel.

    Really enjoyed this Brian!

  • @jbenson81 Thanks for your support over my YouTubes. I'm always grateful to you. I've been working on this character for a while and this video was shot almost a year ago. It took me time to work-up my confidence and post it.

  • adding brianatene101 to other channels

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Thanks. "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." I hope people find this KodachromeCowboy channel, too. I think a lot of the things I'd like to say I'll be saying through the Cowboy character.

  • @KodachromeCowboy would you like cowboy or atene on the other channels?

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Sure. I'm not too savvy with internet stuff (ironically); and I'm not quite sure how you can do it, or what "adding to other channels" means. But if you can help me let others know about my stuff that'd be great. Thanks.

  • @KodachromeCowboy go to modules and put a check next to otherchannels

put the names of channels you like in the box and then name that section on your channel

  • @xXfrownyguyXx I don't quite understand it, but it sounds sort of tacky. I don't want to force myself on anybody. If people find me I guess that'll be just fine. If they don't find me that's okay, too.

  • @KodachromeCowboy keeping it classy i like

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Okay.

  • @KodachromeCowboy you had work today?

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Huh?

  • @KodachromeCowboy cowboy do work?

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Cowboy works hard. Too hard.

  • @KodachromeCowboy reminds me of someone...

  • @xXfrownyguyXx I hope to Christ I DO remind people of themselves.

  • @KodachromeCowboy but not myself

  • @xXfrownyguyXx You spend a lot of time on the internet, son. Don't ever get laid much, I suppose.

  • @KodachromeCowboy Your incorrect on that one cowboy.

  • @xXfrownyguyXx "You are" correct, or "You're correct". Had much schoolin', son?

  • @KodachromeCowboy schooling.

  • @xXfrownyguyXx I reckon you didn't notice my apostrophe

  • @KodachromeCowboy nope, i missed it.

  • Nice beard :)

  • This is better than the last one. Truely moving. Is the kid hes speaking too the cowboy from the last video ? or is this the cowboy from last video ? ... or are they not related. i apologise for my grammer.

  • @Zenithstrife This was the first Cowboy video I made; but I thought it might be too heavy for a first time posting on KodachromeCowboy, so I posted "Apple for Kandy Kane" (instead) as the first KodachromeCowboy. This video predates "Kandy Kane" by about a year. The character's name is "Cowboy". He is the same cowboy from "Apple for Kandy Kane", though he has a beard here. He is talking to his surviving son Rhead. These videos are snippets from Cowboy's life.

  • @KodachromeCowboy i see. im really enjoying these videos. by the way , awesome beard !!.

  • @Zenithstrife That's quite a compliment coming from you, Aaron. Since I love your own videos so much. Thanks.

  • @BlockwalkerFilms I'm grateful for your comment. It took me a year to work-up enough courage to post this one.

  • beard?!

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Yeah. I grew it for Cowboy. I thought he deserved it. Thanks for your support; and, as always: Thanks for your kind words.

  • @KodachromeCowboy you the best

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Too nice. Thanks.

  • @KodachromeCowboy what state you in

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Cowboy lives in Apple Town, Pennsylvania.

  • @BrianAtene101 i mean the real brian atene

  • @xXfrownyguyXx The real Brian Atene also lives in Pennsylvania.

  • @KodachromeCowboy oh my familys from bethlehem and allentown.

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Small world. They shot the sequel to "The Trouble With Angels" there at Dorney Park. It was called "Where Angels Go Trouble Follows". The original "Trouble With Angels" was also shot nearby. I lived very near the "Angel" school locations for many years.

  • @KodachromeCowboy wow i always loved the bethlehamsteel plant.they tore half it down and put a casino

  • @xXfrownyguyXx Sure. It was a steel town. I think cheap Jap steel did away with it. That's fucking America. "Outsource".

  • @KodachromeCowboy yea japs took it away made steel cheeper

  • @xXfrownyguyXx The Japs have given us a lot: Godzilla. Unemployment. And Pearl Harbor. Oh. Wait. I'm forgeting Okinawa. Mmm. At least at Okinawa they threw themselves off the cliffs. Politically incorrect? Fuck it. I've had a few beers and a drunk man speaks a sober mind.

  • @KodachromeCowboy I dont know how to reply to that...

  • @xXfrownyguyXx You'd be Non-PC if you replied. There's a play, I think, called "Rhinoceros". A monologue in the play (if I'm correct) describes a boy forced to eat dogshit by other boys. That boy would be I. I've been forced by others to eat dogshit my entire life. Occasionally, I spit, as in that last comment. I'm not sure I regret it, either. Its a damned human race. These videos will show my foibles. Cowboy's had his licks, but he's a good man. You'll see.
