  • do u use a wire leader

  • @stevenclimber

Sometime we use it for Shark and Mackerel fishing.

    Godspeed,

    Capt Ben

  • Why do you use braided line instead of mono? Is it purely due to the diameter?

  • @MrDomTak

With braided line you can put more line on and it fishes better.

    Godspeed,

    Capt Ben

  • @captchancey How does it fish better? Isn't it more visible to the fish and it doesnt go underwater as easily?

  • what bait or tackle are you using because we always go fishing and rarely catch redfish and we fish in the gulf

  • Hello Captain Chancey, I'm not sure how often you reply, but I just wanted to know: Are Bait Casters better for big game? Whenever I go fishing for sharks or big reds I typically have my simple spinning reel with me (although it's only equipped with 20 pound test). But most the people around me have big baitcasters.

  • @ArcadianWarrior

You can use both. The Spinning reels cast much further but the conventional baitcast reels hold much more line to fight big fish from shore. Hope this helps.

    Godspeed,

    Capt Ben

  • have u ever fished in sc if not u need to try they have the best shark fishing and the second best red drum fishing other than nc.nice v ideo

  • R U USING BRAIDED LINE?

  • Yes

  • on most reels can you put the handle on the right side if it isent already?

  • @MATTNATTMATT with pretty much every spinning reel, you can put the handle on either side. However, most conventional reels have to be made left or right handed, and are unable to be changed from the way it was made.

  • Red Drum spelled backwards is Murd Der.... LoL! You killed'm, Capt Ben. Good fishin' brother.
