  • this doesnt really say why you do the things the way you do

  • How many days would Jupiter be hidden behind the sun in relationship to the Earth's orbit? The Orbit of Jupiter is said to be 11.86 years to the Earth's one year! Do you have a way to figure out the time it would be obscured by the Sun's bright light when it is on the other side of the Sun n relationship to our Earth?

  • math essay on earth orbiting the sun Algebra 2 .........any input

  • <3 Cos, Sin and Tan.. So usefull ! But I prefer to use vector math in my animations but this is very nicely done!

  • Wye have you MouseOver in the Editor???

  • so this is why we actually learned all that lame gemoetry and pre calc in highschool for. to make flash animations! ugh.

  • Now thats funny... lol so true... not much other use for that stuff for ordinary non-scientists like us.

  • @Ozimandias84 Indeed. I just whish my teacher wold have told me sooner :D

  • Nice Tutorial!

But aren't we forgetting a certain 8? (Mercury, Venus, Mars etc.)

  • lol... what does that mean? Sounds like a black girl's name. Get over here Chesweedah.

  • Hahaha!!!!!! WTF! :P Could that get anymore awesome!? :D

  • Are you meaning that in a funny way or racist way?

  • How does it affect you... maybe we should discuss that.

  • Good job f***ing up all the kids watching this... the earth orbit around the sun is ELIPTICAL! xD~ Also those sin and cos functions are prob pronounced SINE AND COSINE. Excellent 5* lesson. :^)~

  • Damn... my bad... the earth's orbit around the sun is almost nearly circular so your animation is visually more correct than I thought. I don't want to dumb down the kids either. xD~

  • Sine and Cosine :)

  • nice but too long

    try make shorter tutorials

  • Nobody has to even watch the full lesson. But the explanations of code need to be there, and in depth.

All source files and the actionscript is available for instant download from my site. The videos are for those who want to understand in depth. But not really necessary to watch unless you want to.
