oh! I am so afraid that i wont get it! i started snowboarding this season. I can turn but i didnt try this! oh i hope everything is going to be OK. thx for the video.
hey thanks for all the tips i used to be horrible because i used my hands and hips to turn because no one told me but finnaly a good tutorial helped thanks!
thanks Snowprofessor! you vids helped me board today for my first time!. my heelside and breaking is fairly good, but i can't seem to toeside! it's annoying because i can't carve down hills. whenever i toeside, i lose balance and go to fast, eventually leading me to fall and wipe out. it's really painful when i try to toeside; how do i gain more balance and control when i toeside? and how can i easily transition without falling?! thanks a ton.
If you were in front of me, id give you ten bucks. not for providing advice so much....but actually making a good video with examples. Thanks and good work.
Great video guys. Very helpful and informative. Can't wait for it to start snowing here on the East Coast so that I can start trying out some of these tricks.
I' m a beginner and at first when watching tutiorals I didn't get the difference between normal turns and carving, now I get it and I know I can already do it aswell xD
@13randonLee Pretty much every brand is making good boards nowadays. Any large, readily available brand will have plenty of boards that will work great for an intermediate. The best advice I can give is to find a shop close to you and go in and talk with one of the employees to figure out what fits your needs. If you don't feel comfortable with an employee, try to find another who might be more your style.
If there aren't any shops by you, check out some forums for more info.
@13randonLee ride and burton are the best. but honestly a board is a board. i can ride an o'sin the same way i can ride a head. just find a board that looks the way u like
@lilb1190 the last part that has the jumps is at hyland hills in bloomington mn, maybe this whole thing was filmed there (not the parts with the mountains tho) we have a relatively wide hill, pretty nice place, tho the park could use some work.
this video is really awesome, thanks for putting it up. This video ACTUALLY gives real advice on learning and mastering carving. All of the other carving videos just show you a guy carving and teach you nothing. This is great and gives amazing advice thanks so much for this
thank you so much, ive been snowboarding for 2 days and it looks like ive been snowboarding for 3 years and i can go on black next up is double black ^_^
very well done! thanks guys

Does it matter if my toes stick over the edge of the front an inch or so? I'm always afraid it's going to get caught and i'll bail.

Where is that mountain, by the way? I have never seen such a wade area to snowboard.
