  • Does it matter if my toes stick over the edge of the front an inch or so? I'm always afraid it's going to get caught and i'll bail.

  • Good tutorial but their voices made me mad

  • Look in the background at 1:54 there is a person that looks identical to them. Also good tutorial!

  • I did skiing and then realized how gay it was...

  • @ReVivedLegaCy Agreed. Jossi Wells is the exception.

  • 3 dislikes are from skiers....

  • thanks Snowprofessor! you vids helped me board today for my first time!. my heelside and breaking is fairly good, but i can't seem to toeside! it's annoying because i can't carve down hills. whenever i toeside, i lose balance and go to fast, eventually leading me to fall and wipe out. it's really painful when i try to toeside; how do i gain more balance and control when i toeside? and how can i easily transition without falling?! thanks a ton.

  • Thank you! a proper video!!

  • I'm a n00b and this still wasn't enough for me? I need a more in-depth break down :(

  • If you were in front of me, id give you ten bucks. not for providing advice so much....but actually making a good video with examples. Thanks and good work.

  • Wanna see the clean Carving-Style? Search for "OPUS 3".

  • @TBF82 ( "Extremecarving OPUS 3" )

  • why the hell am I not at killington right now?

  • Great video guys. Very helpful and informative. Can't wait for it to start snowing here on the East Coast so that I can start trying out some of these tricks.

  • I' m a beginner and at first when watching tutiorals I didn't get the difference between normal turns and carving, now I get it and I know I can already do it aswell xD

  • Its hard to find a good Snowboarding tutorial, this one nails it!

  • Is a wave board good for practice turning for snowboarding? Im not close to any snow right now.

  • Best Carving video ever thank you so much!!!!!

  • WTF?! hyland hills in bloomington mn??

  • Nice work folks! A thoroughly uncoordinated guy like me might even have a chance with your quality guidance. Keep 'em coming.

  • hey guys, i'm an intermediate free rider and i'm tryna buy a nice board.. so can you guys tell me any brands that are really for intermediates?

  • @13randonLee Pretty much every brand is making good boards nowadays. Any large, readily available brand will have plenty of boards that will work great for an intermediate. The best advice I can give is to find a shop close to you and go in and talk with one of the employees to figure out what fits your needs. If you don't feel comfortable with an employee, try to find another who might be more your style.

If there aren't any shops by you, check out some forums for more info.

  • @13randonLee Lib Tech / Gnu

  • @13randonLee rome and flow is the way to go.

  • @13randonLee I know this comment is old, but since snowboarding season is right around the corner - Neversummer boards are fantastic.

  • @13randonLee ride and burton are the best. but honestly a board is a board. i can ride an o'sin the same way i can ride a head. just find a board that looks the way u like

  • @13randonLee get a SIMS... theyre easy to ride (the right one) and affordable but still nice

  • Really helpfull video! Thanks SnowPro!!

  • awww the jumps at 3:48! look fun and 4:05

  • finally a good tutorial..

  • Anything is better than expertvillage. This is good advice.

Where is that mountain, by the way? I have never seen such a wade area to snowboard.

  • @lilb1190 the last part that has the jumps is at hyland hills in bloomington mn, maybe this whole thing was filmed there (not the parts with the mountains tho) we have a relatively wide hill, pretty nice place, tho the park could use some work.

  • thanks

  • thanks

  • this video is really awesome, thanks for putting it up. This video ACTUALLY gives real advice on learning and mastering carving. All of the other carving videos just show you a guy carving and teach you nothing. This is great and gives amazing advice thanks so much for this

  • thank you so much, ive been snowboarding for 2 days and it looks like ive been snowboarding for 3 years and i can go on black next up is double black ^_^
