I know exactly what you are saying about Tiger's treatment of the fans. He claimed he was going to be more "fan friendly". I was at his tournament last year, AT &T National at Aronimink (outside of Philly). On Tuesday, he played 9 holes, we followed him around, and afterward, he signed maybe 5 autographs. He zig-zagged his way through the crowd, as to avoid signing for more people. Other golfers, like Dustin, Furyk, Justin Leonard, were all great. Vijay Singh wasn't very friendly either
@raeginao I don't understand. Dustin Johnson was the winner? The winner was Graeme McDowell. Perhaps I don't understand your comment.
Furthermore what have I to say, a high hcp'er? I must say, that classic liks course must be such a hard course to win on. When I saw a resumé of that battle, I must say that the Golfers on the top all made mistakes. It must be very hard to have that hard wind comming from different angles all the time. Wonder what happened to Tom Watson? He play great links golf.
@petereuropa Dustin did not win the US Open, even though he was leading heading into the final round; but he did win during the Fed Ex playoffs. Tom Watson was there, I have video of him chipping on the 16th green.
I am the owner of this video; I nearly choked on my soda when I listened to Tiger's press conference at St. Andrews (Old Course) about treating the fans better. Hello Tiger? I did not see you treat the fans any better in person than I have seen on tv!
@raeginao By treating the fans better what do you mean? Do you know the amount of concentr\ation that goes into every shot of his? My Dad has been up close to tiger last year at Turnberry helping him find his ball shoulder to shoulder, 07 at Carnoustie, 05, 04, 02 at Miurfield in gullane which is the village within a mile away from us in aberlady being the guy that holds the quiet sign all the way when he scored 81. You cannot say a word to him at all when he is in the zone, but i understand.
@raeginao Following my previous comment, I do believe when he finishes he could at least sign a hat or two. I was there yesterday and he was going home, no need for concentration and 30 people wanted his autograph and he just got in the car and drove off. Everyone booed. I managed to get Edoardo Molinari's autograph!
@GuitarCrazy12100 thanks for your comments and follow up. I know golf takes a lot of concentration (I play/but not for a living); I waited at the 18th green at Pebble Beach for an hour only to have him stalk off behind the bleachers and into a van on the Monday practice round.
@HawkzHockey9613 thank you for your comments; please read why I was really at the US Open, to put my husband's ashes at his favorite golf course. My blog link is here on my profile.
I do play golf, but just for fun and I think St. Andrews, Pebble Beach and Cypress Point all qualify as excellent places that I played.
have you ever seen a collapse before like johnson on sunday? You can turn him over cuz he's done. It's not just the shut club face at the top.His head is fucked up,man.
tiger can't sign because there's too many people.Check it out,the pro's should be kissin' tigers ass because he has just about doubled their prize money.Hey,this cat d. johnson, was he the dude that won the att at pebble back in february?
I don't mean this as an insult or anything like that, just a question, what about this made you disappointed, or was it something that happened later?
@basketballjones120 not an insult; I was hoping he had turned a corner and became a little more fan friendly, like Phil. Phil did sign for fans, but not until 18 when there was a crush of people. Paddy Harrington did not sign until he finished 18 and there just was too many people that get signatures to sell. Players who did sign when asked, where ever they were coming off, Steve Marino, YE Yang, Zack Johnson, Jerry Kelly, Retief Goosen, David Toms. I also posted Phil on the same hole as Tiger
@raeginao Do you really expect him to stand there signing autographs while some 'people' hiss racist things at him? I was among the crowds and you wouldn't believe the things white people said, and most others chuckled and grinned at those.
I was looking closely to see if Tiger, and Dustin Johnson's caddy gave each other any kind of flirty eye contact. Didn't notice any. LOL :)

Haha, so funny, you sound like all those repubes, falsely claiming that they voted for Obama, but now "are sooooo disappointed ...."
I'm sure Tiger Woods is too, so disappointed the way his so-called "fans" are treating HIM!
Did you really think anyone would believe that you were once a fan? What he does in his relationship is none of your business.

Is this place always cold?
I stay at the seaside last april and it's usually cold for spring!
Windy and cold 50s in the noon and night or morning about early 40s!
I'm surprised that tiger still wear long sleeve sweater!
I missed the final round who's the winner?
