A pun is when you emphasize other meanings in a word or phrase, OR when you exchange words with other words that merely sound similar. So this would be considered a pun, yes.

@DragonSpawn777 "Jeez." Minced oath for "Jesus" which sees common usage in the South Boston area. Sounds kind of like "cheese," so it's understandable if someone hears it as such and doesn't realize a pun was being made out of it. I'd wager you wouldn't have heard it as "aww, cheese" outside of this video's context.
