Open wheel NASCAR Modified racing at Bristol Motor Speedway- you gotta LOVE it! It gives a whole new meaning to the name "Thunder Valley". By my stopwatch, they're turning laps faster than the NASCAR Sprint Cup cars, side-by-side, without turning the race into a crashfest. Richie Evans, Charlie Jarzombek, Corky Cookman, Tom Druar, Don Pratt, Tony Jankowiak, Kenny Minter, Tom Baldwin Sr. and John Blewett III all must be VERY proud! Congratulations Donny Lia, the pride of Long Island. Thanks! :^)

oh hell The Mods blow the doors off the cup cars they were turning 14second lap times and very loud i caution just to get my hearing back

Looks like some pretty good racing there.I haven't seen the tape of this yet...was there a lot of back and forth action the whole race? Did they put on an exciting show?

What did the Mods sound like at Bristol?

Was half the crowd like "WTF are these cars?" lol

yea the beginning of the race for about 40 laps seemed like they were saving there stuff then once donny dia was in the picture it was a fight from there to the finish they were pretty loud there im glad they had a caution after 70 laps of stady green flag run my ears needed a rest, but yes it was a good show i would go back there was some people sitting in front of us who i guess never saw them before saying wow now that was a race lol so they obviously impressed some first time fans

yea it was a good race i thought ted christopher was gonna win tho
